  • We know the Proven Winners Supertunia Vista plants are very vigorous growers. However, sometimes it is hard to see the differences in the flower color and size. Hopefully this video clears up some of the questions we often get!

    They are incredible. I live in Delaware. After a 2022 season of watching these things spread over 3.5 feet, I decided to leave them in the ground and see if they would come back this year. Guess what, they all came back. I am so glad I did not dig them up last winter, Thank you!

    I’ve been planting Vista Supertunias in my front yard landscape for several years. They are quite the showstoppers! Water, feed weekly, give them a trim mid-summer and they will repay you with absolutely gorgeous blooms until frost. Bubblegum is my favorite but I use various other colors with them. Highly recommend! (I live in zone 7a.)

    Everyone loves Bubblegum because they grow and flower so vigorously. A few Years ago I alternated two bubblegum and two fushia in a large pot. My Fushia eat my Bubblegum!! The bubblegum did live and flower and mingle nicely with the fushia but it was mostly fushia! I had them in a 24 inch tall container and they both grew over the side of the container hit the ground and started back up! So bubblegum isnt the only showstopper in this series! Every Supertunia I've ever tried is amazing! My neighbors always saying "I just don't have the luck you do with petunias!" I try to tell her it's not petunias! She keeps tring the waves and such and they just don't compare! 🌸 Thank you for the video comparing all the vista colors!

    Received my ordered plants from Garden Crossings and they are great. Were placed on their sides in the package at my house, even though the arrows clearly indicate the direction the package should go. No harm done, though, because there was wrapping around the base to hold the soil in. Will given them a chance to rest and then put them in. A very nice experience.

    • @maureenmckenna5220
      @maureenmckenna5220 Před rokem

      @@lindaforystek5028 I really thought they were for both parties. Yes, for me when I receive it, to know which end is up, but as the concerned receiver, who paid for it, I would be the interested party, and treat it carefully. The carrier, on the other hand, has the potential to do the most damage, and those arrows would certainly be important for the safety of the plant, even if the packaging inside is designed to protect the plants from mishandling, which would be transporting them on their sides or even upside down when it comes to it. The arrows are for both our sakes, but having received two plant packages with half of the soil no longer in the pot, I’d say those arrows were specifically meant for the carrier.

      I do not recommend planting in the eco pots. They are great that they can be composted but I think the plants are better served being planted like before. This is interesting that you are not finding Jazzberry vigorous, they are really putting on a show in our beds.

      You should not need to deadhead Supertunias. They are self cleaning. If needed you can trim your plants back to create more branching and more flowers if they start to get leggy. Leggy usually happens when you do not fertilize.
