You asked to leave a comment about what our greatest fear is. I'd have to say my greatest fear is failure. I've started this course in Pharmacy Technician at a late stage in my life after being caregiving for my parents for over 10 years and being in my upper 50's, I just hope I haven't bit off more than I can chew. I'm loving the learning, but having to work hard on the memorizing part. I want to succeed so bad but I have been out of the loop of things for so long. One thing for sure...I am so blessed that I ran across your youtube channel! Watching you has been such a tremendous help to me! Thank you so much!!!

Robin, I am in a similar situation, being older and moving into Pharmacy Technician field. It is scary. Memorizing and math have been challenging. Hang in there ... you can do this!

I agree, I’m also in the same situation.
I’ve collected all of the information I’ll need, without extra context that will weigh me down. (Amazon has great laminated content 200 meds-ptcb info-etc; along with flash cards; & PTCB HERO BOOK)
Next, I’m situating my life in such a way, that Christ, work, studying, and Grand Children; are my only focus. This way I won’t be spread too thin.
I’m gettin tutoring for the math. A study buddy for the rest, and we will put it all to nursery rhyme songs. I figure the songs & fun of the buddy, will make my memory stronger.
Then I’ll Pray 🙏🏼 & test…

Hi PTL, I am 67 years old and I was called to start work as pharmacy tech training. I want to pass the test so badly. I know a little abb. I need to know more, and where to get free training. you think you can give me some points. I was a pharmacy tech training about 6 years ago. but I fail the test by 10 points, 3x, So I could not work there anymore but they called me back. This time I want to pass this test. the test that they gave me was a lot of hospital liquid tests. so I am hoping this doesn't happen to me again. I need to know what good books to study on. I need a good one. I am bilingual and it is hard to pronounce words.
