    Nice looking rig!
    I have the sport max and I second the flip windshield statement. Probably one of the best options I purchased

      Awesome! That’s the only regret I have, not paying a little more for the XXC, but I’m plenty happy. I appreciate it, spent a good amount of time planning this build out

    Just a suggestion, take it for what it's worth. I have the same machine and at 1500 miles I put 30x10x14 Terrabites on it. Had the belt off at 1500 miles and it looked brand new. Ran the 30's for about 500 miles and bought the Dalton clutch kit DBMS-R1. Took the belt off to install the clutch kit and the belt showed significant wear and cracking in the 500 miles with the 30" tires. The bigger tires really put a strain on the belt with stock clutch. I highly recommend the Dalton kit, it completely restored the low end power and really takes the added stress off the belt. I'd use the stiffer primary spring (tan/blue) since you're running 32's, and upgrade the rollers while you have the helix off the secondary. Happy trails.

    • @GetlostwithKenny
      @GetlostwithKenny  Před rokem +1

      For sure. I’m at 4600 miles now on the original belt, so it hasn’t been an issue. But yeah I’m definitely looking at clutching this winter, happy to hear you like the dalton! Did you buy any of the specialty tools to work on it? Or do it with home made tools? I definitely miss the smooth and low end engagement

    • @jasonarbour1616
      @jasonarbour1616 Před rokem

      @@GetlostwithKenny I bought the primary puller and the roller pin remover from Gboost. Made a spring compressor from a piece of threaded rod and some 2" fender washers. Had issues trying to get the spider off the primary, and didn't wanna buy the puller (360ish bucks). Stopped by my local independent power sports shop and he made a puller out of an old skidoo brake disc in about 15 minutes, which worked perfectly. The can am dealer wanted 350 labor (Maine) to do the whole job, so I was trying to save some bucks. Prob still had 160 in tools that I had to buy. Just as a heads up, all 3 of my slider shoe o-rings we're toast, but no wear on the slider shoes. The rollers I used were aftermarket assassin's. The secondary was done in about a half hour, had much more trouble with the primary, including getting it off the machine. 4600 miles is mighty impressive for the original belt.

      Much appreciated!! I used the Can-Am Linq base kit 715003951 it’s a bolt on kit like the rest of their accessories. I run an iPad Air with OnXoffroad. However the great thing about using a tablet is you can use any number of mapping/gps apps. Just comes down to ease of use and preference! I also use a Garmin Glo2 Bluetooth GPS receiver, more precise than the gps chip in any phone or tablet

    Nice ride. I have the same machine in the same colors. You are right about the trunk cover, well worth the money to keep everyting dry and dust free. Did your wheel offset make it wider than 60"?

    • @GetlostwithKenny
      @GetlostwithKenny  Před 2 lety

      Yes it pushed it to 64” which I don’t mind, but between the tire size and poor offset, it did hurt the handling of the machine. Honestly a 30” tire and 6+1 or 5+2 wheels is the way to go in my opinion. When these tires wear out I’ll drop down to 30s

    Excellent vidéo! I’m waiting for my sport Dps. I’m getting the powerflip windshield. I’m in Canada and afraid the snow is going to get stuck without a wiper. Do you know if you can had a wiper for it? Thanks

    • @GetlostwithKenny
      @GetlostwithKenny  Před 2 lety +1

      I saw on Can-Am’s website that they offer a window washer/wiper kit for the X3 powerflip. Going by that I’d say you certainly can! I’m sure there are aftermarket electric wiper kits available

    • @TimberJay
      @TimberJay Před 2 lety +1

      If you are in Canada I would highly recommend not to get the flip up windshield as it is a polycarbonate windshield without a windshield wiper go with the windshield that is OEM glass with windshield washer wiper kit far superior than the flip windshield

    I I have a ‘22 commander XT-P which in much line your machine. I’m intrigued by the roof vent. My machine is almost unbearably hot during our Oklahoma summers. I’ve never seen that vent before. Are you a fan of it? Any feedback would be very welcome. Killer machine man!

    • @GetlostwithKenny
      @GetlostwithKenny  Před 7 měsíci

      The vent itself doesnt provide much airflow. It only really "works" with the upper doors on. Its only slightly noticeable with a full windshield and rear window, however its not impressive at all. I constantly ride in 95-100 degree temps with my machine. Thats where the powerflip is worth the money. I have yet to ride in ANY sxs with a full windshield in 90+ degree weather and not have it uncomfortable. Best I can say is to add some Dynamat to the transmission tunnel panels, make a boot that seals off the shifter tower, and get either a powerflip windshield or a half windshield. The roof vent wont help much, it definitely did not live up to what I was expecting it to

    Any loss of power or top speed with the larger tires?

    • @GetlostwithKenny
      @GetlostwithKenny  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Oh there is noticeable loss in acceleration. On a long flat road it doesn’t quite have to power to reach 80 anymore. It’s fine 60-65mph but can hit 75ish. Tune and clutch helped gain back some of the lost power, but the wheel and tire weight is killer
