About Sam Ryder
In 2020, as the world went into lockdown, Sam Ryder uploaded the first of his now infamous covers that quickly caught the attention of some famous fans (think Elton John) with compilations appearing on The Ellen Show & BBC's Newsbeat. As the content kept coming, so did the fans, amassing 10 million on socials by the end of the year. Fast forward to 2021 and Sam was crowned as TikTok's most popular UK artist account for the second year in a row.
In 2021, Sam released his 5-song EP 'The Sun's Gonna Rise' including track 'Whirlwind' that describes Sam’s journey - spending much of his adult life writing and performing in bands, living in Hawaii and owning a vegan coffee shop; before he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a solo artist.
Sam's first show in London sold out in under 10 minutes, nearly as quickly as his first full UK tour. Ready to make his first live foray into Europe and beyond, world domination in 2022 might not be a stretch too far for this incredible talent.

Dear Mr. Sam, I'm a lot older than you and have dealt with many battles always coming out feeling like " the looser". I'm going thru the ultimate battle this last 2 years . Thank you for this song... reminding me that life is a series of battles ,We fight through them , take time to heal , and prepare for the next... step by step...
But here's the thing, choose the battles, and not everything needs to be one. But when one comes that is your battlefield...fight it fully, bravely leave everything out there. And even if you don't win ... sometimes surviving IS a win... just this battle. We can't see the whole war. And maybe, just maybe in the war...it was a win after all.

It's a long story and I hope they are alive and well because the comedian they looked like has sadly passed away but whoever they were.
