Hi! I'm from Argentina and I'm planning to be there in march 2025. I'm researching a lot of information and your videos are so useful! Thanks!
I'm going to Iceland with my mom and brother March 27th thru April 1st, I think my mom is most excited to hopefully see the Aurora. I can only imagine how beautiful it is!!!!
Heading there 24th March 2022 for 5 days. 5th time in this wonderful country 🇮🇸 Can’t wait ❄️❤️
Are you planning a March trip to Iceland?! In this new series on my channel talking about EACH month in Iceland and what you need to know to plan your trip.
I am waiting for April trip to Iceland video :)
i am planning to come in march 2020
any suggestions. are there landslides in march.
I made my first trip to Iceland, the last week of September and first week of October 2018. What a beautiful and scenic diverse country.
We’re going on March 10th! Glad I found your video, thanks for sharing your knowledge 👍🏼
I'm so glad I found you! You have been such a helpful guide and you seem to really know your stuff. What I love most is your enthusiasm and big smile - it's giving me confidence to plan my solo trip to Iceland.
So happy to help! Thanks for watching! :)
Crampons are a top tip. Needed them several times in January this year and will be taking them again on our next trip in March.
Blue car rental were excellent. We had a 4x4 Dacia Duster. It handled all the weather Iceland could throw at it.
The only down side to Iceland is it will keep calling you back for more visits, one will never be enough.
I'm going to go to Iceland this month, so this was the best video I was expecting 😄
Spent a long weekend in Iceland during January. This video is making me miss it desperately.. Ást your videos!
I'll be there March 15th!! I'm so excited!!!
I was there on the 26th till the 29 and I'm so happy we decided to go. From NYC here and to see something like Iceland was so far off my radar LOL. We had the best time. Hope you did too!
How was that in March?
I am here NOW!!!! thanks to her and all her guides:) she inspired me
Thanks a lot for this video. I waited it since I saw your February video. I'll be on Iceland between March 2 and 7. Your videos are very helpful. Thanks a lot. I just hope the weather will be good, clear roads and of course, northern lights.
How was this trip? I’m going in that same timeframe and I’m curious how it was weather wise, driving, etc.
Thank you for the great summary video
Great info! Thanks
Ill be in Iceland next week! Very helpful information!! Great timing with this video!
Happy to help!! Thanks for watching! :)
Looking forward to a video about September in Iceland!
thank you for the amazing info appriciated
Going on March 2 to 15 !! :D Can't wait!
What was the weather like for you? I'll be going March 7-28 this year. Thanks!
Thinking of going in either late March/early April next year to get that nice mix of enough day light hours to explore plus also to get a chance to see the Northern lights. I’ve luckily visited Iceland 3 times, twice in the winter 2016/18 and summer this year. Absolutely love this country. Highly recommend these vlogs as they’ve been a great help on my previous visit. Thanks Jeannie ❤️🇮🇸
I’m going in 3 weeks 😊 I chose those dates for the exact same reason as you. Hope I get lucky with the northern lights 🤞
@@lizgerdes have a great time. Iceland 🇮🇸 is a wonderful country with so many amazing things to see. Fingers crossed you see the Northern Lights 🤞I will be there end of March so we may pass each other without knowing 😁
Awesome!!!! Please make a September in Iceland video . Jeannie is the best!
Leaving for Iceland March 1st!!!! SO EXCITED

Me too!
Great information. March 2020 trip for me ❤️👍
Me too, I can't wait! This year will be veeeery long
Thanks
Really like these 'monthly videos', however doesn't give a March traveler much time to follow all your ideas. I'm going in May, and can't wait for your video on May travel!
Hi, thanks a lot for this video, I am going on March 6.
I hope you have the best.trip.ever!
Thanks very much for all your tips! :). Very useful! We will be in Iceland from the 10th of March 2020 🙌🏽👏🏽 and in Reykjavik on the 14th! Let us know if you are around and fancy a drink with us! Cheers!😊
Did you see the northern lights during march?
Love 💕💕💕💕 ice
Yess 🙌🏻
I’m going at the end of March for the first time! Any suggestions on foot wear for just exploring around the city? I have ahnu boots for everything else. Also! If anyone knows a CZcamsr or someone on Instagram who has some awesome info on Ireland like Iceland with a view does, I would LOVE to know.
Thanks so much for the awesome videos!!
Hey! I’m going this year, any tips or recommendations?
Bummed WOW airlines stopped service in Cincinnati. That is where we flew out of our last trip to Iceland.
Hey Jeannie! How are you?
I have to thank you because I live in Iceland for 5 months now and your videos were very important for me to make this decision.
Keep on going ;)
I visited Iceland five times on different seasons. See my playlist on by channel for many impressions. Loved Iceland very much!
Thanks for watching! :)
Got a new link for the event calendar? That one doesn't work. Thanks!
And one more question! How do you feel about driving the ring road in March? I’ll be there 3/12-3/20
We will be in Iceland the last week of March, and 1st week of April; do we really need to get Crampons?
Question! What do you like about the car rental company you listed? Is it really better to get a rental outside of the KEF airport? Travelocity has cars similar vehicles for several hundred dollars less but I’m wondering if they are older vehicles... primarily through fox rent a car.
I am travelling to Iceland in March 2020 and your videos are very information/interesting so thanks for that. I do have a question that I'm hoping you can help me with though, I know I need waterproof jacket and pants but they all seem to have an mm waterproof figure (eg, 15k mm, 10k mm). I have found a site that explains the different levels BUT it I can't find anywhere that tells me what number I should look at for March in Iceland...
Would love to know what women wear in the pubs in the evenings and the best waterproof hiking boots ?
Do you have an idea where to start planning for either March or October trip?
Great video! We're there from March 3rd to March 8th.
What are your thoughts on Reykjavik to Jokulsarlon?
I know this comment is two years later, but how was the trip? We are going in that timeframe also and I’m curious how the weather and driving was?
Sonar festival is in April this year 😩
I just booked my trip to go from 16 to 25th of march. The moon is out so will ill be able to see the Northern lights?
What day did you go for Northern lights? :)
Is it rainy in end of the March ?? Please let me know
Can I hike glymur in March
Hi! Considering going to Iceland with my 12 year old son. I feel nervous about driving around the country in late March but also feel like being a part of a tour won’t allow us the time we want to spend at each site and take away from the experience . Can anyone recommend your company that is provides private tours...we pretty much need a driver/guide for the 4 days .
Did you ever find a good option?
Are you on “Showaround” it would be cool too have you as a personal tour guide. :)
I am not, thank you for the kind words! And thanks for watching! :)
We have booked a trip to Reykjavik over the Easter weeken should I be rescheduling? Will tours and museums be open?
here is my Spring link! It may help answer your questions! Here is a link to my free Arrival Guide you may want to check out as well! icelandwithaview.com/arrival Have a fabulous trip!
what happens if you get stranded driving due to the weather and are alone? is there like an emergency number or something
Hi Jess! Great question! The emergency number in Iceland is 112. Also, upload your itinerary to safetravel.is (safetravel.is/travel-plan) and leave your itinerary with a loved one. If you follow common and good sense by staying off of closed roads, other drivers should eventually be around to help you. Keep snacks and water in your car as well.

Hey, love the video. Would love to go to Iceland some day!
If you have a few minutes to check out my first ever vlog in MALAYSIA, that would be sweet!
Please let me know what you think! Thanks! 😃
Thanks I’ll be sure not to visit in March
Crampons, really? I live in Texas, I'll never need these again. I'll skip thanks.
