@@ludwigtheholyblade777 Think about it my man,Luffy has the plot and being the main character back him up as any other character in any other anime...Also in order to open space for the new generation the older has to be or their side or die, Whitebeard would not be a part any of the supernovas crew or fleet, thus he would be an opponent that being said,like i said before Whitebeard in his prime with full health, would be almost impossible to be defeated, and also all he wanted was a family not a treasure or status...

We spend so much time with luffy and his crew that we forget that most pirates are bad people and most of the world hates them.
@@davidcano5455 one of the greatest things One Piece offers is the fact that everyone just operates differently. Its not the plain "Good vs Bad" dynamic, its just that we don't agree on things and if talking is not an option, we need to fight it out.

Unfortunately whitebeard did not capable using colour of haki because of his injuries and akainu also logia, like a powerful over the top logia. Half assed haki didn't gave him a serious injury like in the punk hazard, fighting prime aokiji full fresh.
Wouldn't whitebeard's attack still be strong since it's enhanced with DF abilities? I know logia is immune to physical attacks but I would imagine pure seismic waves would hurt Akainu in some way.

Akainu couldn't do sh*t to already stabbed pre heart attack Whitebeard.
He couldn't even land a hit on pre heart attack Whitebeard while Whitebeard sent him flying with his naginata.
All the wounds he manged to inflict on Whitebeard were underhanded and of cowardice.
•He managed to make the first hole because off heart attack.
•He managed to make the second hole(filler) because he threw sand(here magma)in Whitebeard's eyes blocking his view.
•He managed to burn a part of Whitebeard's face because Whitebeard was just standing unguarded in front of akainu being unable to move even an inch due rediculous wounds.
Akainu took that chance, jumped and burned a part of Whitebeard's face.
All the wounds he inflicted on Whitebeard were underhanded and a result of Whitebeard's heart attack.
Even "already sttabed" pre heart attack Whitebeard was playing with akainu like a toy, akainu couldn't land a single hit on already stabbed Whitebeard.
No admiral was stronger than Whitebeard.
