Arsenal have been for a while the most hated club in the country. As you said, Liverpool had a 5 point lead on City at one point and yet when they collapse the narrative is that 'they've overachieved.' Yet Arsenal of last season were labelled bottlers even though no one even had them in their top 4 at the beginning of the season. No one thought Arsenal would even challenge again this season, yet when we don't win it, its because we've bottled it again apparently.

I haven't heard anyone in the media spotlight aiming that tag at Liverpool who, let's all be honest, are the only team that did bottle a title race this season. If winning 15 games out of 17 since Christmas and taking the juggernaut that is Man City to the final day of the season for the title is classed as "bottling" the league, then I don't know what to tell you.

This has NEVER been mentioned, but let's be perfectly honest here. Arsenal have almost completely avoided injuries all season, and THIS is why they're in and about the title race.
The points totals are lower/more well-distributed than usual, and much of this is down to the horrendously damaging injuries suffered by many of the other teams up there, including Man City.
Arsenal have performed, generally, as well as champions league contenders would need to, and you can't take anything away from them at all (nor am I attempting to). But Man City lost Rodri, Haaland, De Bruyne, Walker, Stones etc. Liverpool had injuries and drafted in quite a few kids. Villa suffered the worst, and the earliest, with every single player being out, two all season, 3 ACL injuries, etc. Chelsea have had injuries, and nobody would recognise their bench. Same with Man Utd, though they can still field a strong XI, but their subs bench is poor. Newcastle have suffered, undoubtedly, though one wonders how much of that was self-inflicted. Spurs also lost much of their back line, lost Maddison when in good form, Richarlison was out for a while I believe, etc etc.
Arsenal have had the benefit of a full squad for most of the season. Then they've done what they needed to. If they had similar injury concerns, or other teams stayed fit, I honestly wonder if they'd even make top 4.

No1 plays f anything; u can't control what the opposition does no matter how u try.
The fact that City couldn't bt a PARKED Arsenal at their OWN ground (the Emptihad ) with their 12th man shouting them on,says alot about City
They were EXPECTED t bt Arsenal based on previous results but they didn't despite having Haaland, Foden an Rodri play that day.
Last season City bt Arsenal 3-0 /4-1, both home/away so why didn't they bt Arsenal this Yr if they were superior?
