If you ask Stefan Fouché where his favourite place to hunt in Southern Africa is, his answer would unmistakably be the Kalahari.
"From steenbok to lion and buffalo, the Kalahari not only offers you some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, it offers you a unique hunting experience as well," he says.
In this episode of Africa's Sportsman Show hunts with Chapungu-Kambako Safaris on Kalahari Oryx Private Game Reserve. They will be hunting plains game in the Kalahari Desert, mainly oryx and springbuck.

Verseker, daar is nie Kalahari gaan die manne groot, en dit wys in die jag. Mens voel sommer die verskil.
@ZAJagter Ironic considering white farmers settled into what is considered the Kalahari Desert as late as the 1960s, erected fences and caused massive population declines in most of the large mammal species.
It was only until the 1990s that with the advent of game ranching and wildlife reintroduction, would the Kalahari be converted back into a viable wilderness.
If you aren't 100% sure then do not shoot!
That lion at 7:28 is incredibly beautiful. How many lions are on the reserve? I take it hunting quotas for lions there are quite limited, considering it's a wild population.

Great hunt, nice shooting as well. Was the Oryx shot with the Nosler Accubond bullets? I was a bit surprised the first shot zipped through him as if he was not even there.

if he had a beter shot and a ELD-x Rounds for sure that Oryx would drop on the spot ive hunted kudu bulls in that area wit my 6.5 at 300+ meters and drop them with 1 shot hes shot placement was off thats all

Hi Manny. CZcams determines the amount of add displayed. Taking into account that you get to watch this for free, it's not a bad deal. CZcams does have a Premium option that cost a bit each month but you won't see adverts. Keep in mind that the creators make less (almost nothing) when you are Premium. It cost time and money to produce quality content so the 5 seconds you need to wait isn't bad at all.
