Hunting for “Ribbokke” in the Eastern Cape Winterberge
No matter in what way you approach the thought or initiative, hunting any of the reedbuck species will always remain a challenge and, if you challenge yourself enough an unforgettable experience. Especially when you throw the Vaal Ribbok (grey rhebok) into the mix. There aren’t many places you can hunt them and the of course you get places and you get places… Our hunting editor, Stefan Fouché, wanted to hunt both the mountain reedbuck (rooi ribbok) and the Vaalie in one hunting trip and cameraman Martin Müller, ownder of ‪@AfricanSunProductions‬ pointed him to Megan King and Ashley Keal from Kings Mountain Lodge near Tarkastad in the Eastern Cape.
