Those are some great finds as well of LP's . I do love those Camden releases as well. Plus the 8 Tracks, I will hopefully one day start collecting them as well. Have plenty of cassette tapes from over time now and enjoy them throughly.

Couple of days ago, I saw an old interview with a female RCA executive who worked with Colonel Parker in the creation and distribution of Elvis records. She complained RCA had no control over the audio material, pictures, or layout of the record covers. All of this was delivered by the Colonel for each album. She had a very specific complaint the Colonel would not allow any empty space on the record covers, forcing RCA to fill these spaces with advertisements for other Elvis product, which it was clear she felt was tacky and did not assist in selling additional Elvis RCA product. I immediately thought of you and your love for the Colonel's ads and how sad it is this poor woman was harassed by Colonel Parker into an opinion which is clearly on the wrong side of Elvis history.

Christian, I have often wondered, who picked what was going to be on Elvis s albums, it sure wasn't Elvis
From what I've read, Elvis had input at Sun. Later on, I think he mostly listened to demos and picked some songs he liked, but others were "recommended" or "suggested" for him to do. Now on the soundtracks, I don't think he had input.
