- Hello, As many of you know and are very frustrated (I too) with CBS not showing Marlee for more than a few seconds at the Super Bowl. This was also simply a lack of accessibility to the deaf community. I did a lil scrambling on CZcams and editing as well to try to showcase Marlee's entire performance. I apologize this is nowhere near perfect as I'd like it to be but some parts were zoomed in well! Hope you enjoy!
as a hearing person, I wish I could have seen more of Marlee. I was an interpreter for 13 years and I have respect for Deaf Culture and I thought it was in poor taste that CBS did not show more of Marlee.
Full of emotion! Just wish the screen for the signs had been bigger or even as big as the singer's.
Agree and agree! I wish they had placed Marlee right next to Lady Gaga. Marlee is essentially the "singer" for the deaf and hard of hearing community. It's all about equal access.
I misread the title as singing instead of signing, and then I saw a blonde woman singing on the screen and I thought it was Marlee. I was so confused because I’be heard talk from time to time but I was like “WOW! HOW IS SHE SO AMAZING AT SINGING WHEN SHES DEAF?” And then I reread the title. Wonderful interpreting though! I love her
I had never been so mad in my life when I saw this. #1, they invited Lady Ga Ga to sing the National Anthem who I don't like, #2, they didn't show Marlee Matlin signing the song all the way. I was pissed. 😠 I wanted to see Marlee signing the song all the way.

Shame about the movement and lack of zooming. I wanted to see Marlee not the crowd !!
