  • The Shark ICZ160UK cordless vacuum has exceeded my expectations from what to expect from a cordless vacuumer cleaner, however it has some basic flaws which I will show you in this review. Even with these fundamental minor issues it is still once of the best cordless vacuums of 2021.

Follow up: Forgot to mention this Vacuum is VERY quiet compared to my old Dyson DC33, you can still have a conversation when it is on with someone, and hear them fine which is great.

The metal stem where the hair wraps round is a filter. Its made of mesh to allow the air flow to cyclone through it. If you do not wipe the fluff lint & hair off it you will notice a loss of suction over time

I would guess that the reason why there is no on-board tool storage might be to keep the unit light and compact. Carrying around the tools with the unit would add to the weight and size of what otherwise appears to be a fairly light and compact unit.

I have to say first of all I think you're so cute. Secondly I have this particular model and I am amazed how well this works. The way I use mine is I do it in just the default mode and go over the whole entire carpet with that first and then the high-traffic areas I'll put it induced to get that really deep down cleaning of the traffic areas and I still have 42 30 minutes left on the battery so I can go around and do all the attachment work with the remaining power left in the battery it works wonderful. I will say that I do wish it had a clip to where you can store the accessories on it while you're using it. But it's not that major of a deal as far as I'm concerned. I will tell you this it's amazing how much the sticks up out of the carpet I have the corded heavy-duty Vortex upright and the vortex canister and this pulls out so much dirt it's not even remotely funny and I vacuumed every single day

Can you stop the beater it's just that I have a cordless and it is quite aggressive on my high pile carpet the beater bar bar going round? It's just that my current cordless hoover is quite aggressive on my high pile carpet so I'm looking for a cordless where I can stop the Beta bar going round. Many thanks

When you set it to hard floor mode, the main brush stops spinning you could do that. I had the same problem with my corded Dyson, but the carpet mode on this works really well and is alot easier to push and I have high pile carpet too. Hope that helps.

Just bought this. Poor sausage - having to touch the dirt! Mine emptied cleanly and I do have pets! Vacuumed with a well known make (not Dyson) and two days later vacuumed again - picked up even more hair and dust! Excellent. Annoyingly, mine suddenly started cutting out after only a couple of minutes use. Research reveals that they do this if they get clogged up and its a bit of a design fault. I've cleared the system as much as I could but, although its no longer cutting out, its really not picking up at all well and randomly deposits bits of grit everywhere as I vacuum. So annoying, as I've only had it about 18 months but it looks as though its knackered. Nice while it lasted!

    • @Dipscovery
