  • I have had my Action Trackchair STS for three years, and I thought I would go through the items I use on my chair. I highly recommend it for any individual who has a medical condition that currently prevents them from enjoying the outdoors.

    How's far is your range

@darbybarker7280 it depends entirely on temperature and terrain. Very cold approximately 10° F and steep I was able to get a little over a mile and a half out and got nervous on the way back because I was on my last bar of power and it was blinking. When it is warm, about 50° F and flat, I am able to go all day from about 7 am to about 6 pm and have three bars left.

That range is disappointing, think about doing a lithium battery upgrade, my tri-ride T-rocks can drive me from my house, up to the lake, around the lake and home, 13, yes 13 miles in total and I still have 50% battery, with a climb of 200m in 4 miles and doing up to 30mph on the road.

@Bluetoothedshark I'm going that route when it's time for new batteries. But I think the batteries installed are a lithium deep cycle. I do know that the tracks do take more power than a wheeled ride like that tri-ride. I'm happy with the performance overall. I just realize its limitations and stay within those boundaries.

@@Bluetoothedshark and I'd give it all up if it meant I could run with and lift my grandchildren again!

@@redneckgimpreview but back in the real world, you can spend real time, in real country, teaching them all the same lessons. Persistence overcomes resistance.
