- This is a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder LE V6 4.0LT 4WD Repair and step by step explanation for the Trouble code P0335 location and repair Crankshaft Position Sensor circuit A
It is located inside the Passenger front wheel hub cover area
Thanks for putting this out there. I have a FIXD to plug into my computer board and got the same code. It's good to see the exact make/model/year as I have to see where exactly it is located. I already replaced my camshaft sensors. This should finish the job. I heard that you need to replace both camshaft sensors typically when you replace the crankshaft senor, so that might be something to know before you start this job. I got the crankshaft sensor for about $25 and the two camshaft sensors were $75/$85 respectively. I got the parts at Autozone. I hope this helps others who are looking to do this repair themselves as well. Thanks for putting up this video. It's good to know where to look once I get the tire and fender skirt off.
Not a problem. I enjoy helping people. And if this video helps anyone then it was worth making the video.
And feel free to shoot a message if there is anything else you all would like to see in a video of this vehicle

Thanks for your information l have same problem in my nissan 2008
I will try to fix it by myself
God bless you
Hey Dhia Alnasser did it fix your issue?
@@ronbond3777
its ok now thanks
Thanks for the video, sir! I've done all these steps and the code comes up still. Along with a p0340 code. It's an 07 Pathfinder.
Their is also a sensor on the driver side same spot as well.
If you changed the passenger side sensor and that did not correct it. You will need to do the driver side one.
The P0340 code I am almost 100% sure is the driver side sensor behind the driver side front wheel in the same spot
@@ronbond3777 thanks for the response! This would be the camshaft sensor, correct?
It's like the 2nd time I've changed it in 6 years of owning my pathfinder
Glad the video helped.
I have that same code I will replace this sensor thanks I also have the o2 sensor bank one do you know the location of it ?
One it located on your exhausted pipe itself
Do I need to disconnect battery before changing the sensor?
No you do not.
What was the reservoir in the center that you said check it but didn’t mention what it was mine is dry.
Sorry I thought I did say what it was.. That is the power steering fluid reservoir.
Well that set off the crank shaft position reading
@@brucebuell7528 is your slip and VDF on? If so then yes.
Also the part afterwards that you said to check if the engine is cooled off
Hi I am Savy I just replaced a crankshaft position sensor A on 2007 Nissan Pathfinder but it still arror cod p335. So what should I do next? Thanks
Towards the end of video there is a reset step by step on how to reset this code.
Did this fix it?
I replaced crankshaft position sensor now it starts then shuts off. What to do now
Do the reset steps at the end of video. Unhook battery for a few minutes then turn it to on position but not fully on only to where you have power to radio and so on. Then let it reset and then turn it off all the way wait a few minutes then turn it on fully and drive around your home close to your home for a few minutes
Did it turn on after you change it?
Absolutely. I had ZERO issue's after i changed it.
Replaced sensor car would not start put back existing one wouldn’t start but then removed neg battery cable put back on started. What did I do wrong
Did you disconnect battery before the repair? If you did the on board computer didn't recognize the repair/change and put it into a ( limp mode ) kind of deal.
After you took off the negative connection and put it back on then it did reset the issue
What about a frontier
Yes. It will also work on the Frontier
