One day I hope to be a part of something so purely magical (either as an actor or the one helping them change (a dresser)). Maybe not for this show in particular but for any show. That closest thing to real magic I feel like we have.
I love quick changes! At my school we are doing Cinderella and that has 3 quick changes on stage (crazy Marie -> fairy godmother, cinderella in rags -> ball gown, cinderella torn gown -> fixed gown) and I'm doing run crew and i can't wait to see how these dresses turn out! It is so cool how just in a spin an actor can go from one costume to another. :)

Consumerist fact : stores deliberatly shift places of groceries so you can get lost and spend more time in the store, increasing the odds of you buying random stuff
Do you know how fucking expensive resets are? In takes weeks with a full crew. Hell no. We do yearly resets to wash out (clearence) old product and bring in new.

Maybe that's what the person who had this brilliant idea thought. But in reality nobody's getting lost in a store they go to a lot. It only serves to piss people off when they go to look for something and it's not there but halfway across the store in the opposite direction.
@@crazy808ish I move a lot and have given up trying to know where things are in stores like Walmart. Luckily I’ve noticed that they’ve stuck to only a few different layouts lol

We smashed a bunch of heavy glass mugs then when we went to break keyboards over the table, some glass shrapnel flew up and somehow cut me deep through the provided protective glove LOL. We went out to the lobby, ran it under water and one of the employees (Super nice considering she was covered in my blood) wrapped me up. We went back in and finished the session then went to urgent care to get it glued. Got to break shit and a cool scar, 10/10.

Ex-retail worker here, 3:20, often places will move items around like this on purpose, as the longer you spend looking for items, the more likely you are going to pass a couple items that you wouldnt normally get. "I know where the bread is, ill go there... im lost... oh wines on offer, i normally wouldnt but since im here" kind of thing.
Same reason all of the things you might want to just go in for quickly arent always the first thing you see, bread, milk, water, seasonal buys etc. you have to walk past stuff to get to them.
Ooooor you'll just ask an associate and find out where your product was moved to immediately.
Same goes for placing quick grab items next to promotions. It’s a dirty move. But a well-played one.
