Oh man, this really could've made a decent sequel to the original 'Bride'. She tries to save Friend for reasons she can't articulate in spite of her initial horror ("She hate me, like others..."), we get some crossover action with Dracula's brides, she combines the science she learns from Frankenstein's notes with some dark vampiristic juju, adding to the further unholiness of the reanimation process... I wanna see this movie!

OMG! Bobsheaux?! I saw your review of "Mad Monster Party". You did a really good job. Funny that I didn't realize those women the Bride was killing were Dracula's brides. Now it all feels less weird!
I will say though that I would enjoy seeing this story, especially since female Universal Monsters were in shirt supply and it would give the Bride more character development, but I fear that casting would ruin it. Without Elsa Lanchester and Boris Karloff to play their parts, I feel like we won't get it at its best. This is because they played their parts so wonderfully in the original "Bride" and that, in part, is what lets it endure the test of time. At least, IMO.
Either way, I hope Universal brings this back at some point. Except maybe make it a bit more accessible to those with epilepsy by decreasing the number of flashing lights.
The Bride's vampire hunting outfit looked so badass. This would be a great B-movie. Might grab a camera and make it myself.
While the masks do take away from some of the immersion it also helps make it more convincing that all the Brides are the same person. They did an impressive job finding performers with enough similarities where you could swear the same person is performing the Bride scene after scene.
Even the Plexiglass fits well in the house.
I get the feeling this was designed to accomadate plaguetime stuff, taking a problem and turning it into a challenge. I think it paid off

I love this depiction of an epic battle between the Bride of Frankenstein and the Brides of Dracula. I was totally rooting for the Bride of Frankenstein by the end of it. You go, queen! Slay those vampires and bring your monster to life again! Muahaha
Geez, I would have liked to see this as an actual movie!! The plot is solid and fun, the characters are classic and familiar, we have villains and monsters...it's great!!! I wish I could have gotten to go through this maze!

Is it me or does every actress who got to play in this seem to be having a whale of a time? I LOVE the energy. This is like my third video to try and see the whole experience and they really are giving it their all. My favourites from this year will still always be Haunting of Hill House and Beetlejuice mostly because I love the source material but this is my favourite original.
Trust me, all the actresses try to give it their all because for most of them (I may or may not be speaking about myself ;D) are in their first year at HHN!

@@Firegen1 there’s a really mixed # per maze this year. Texas has about 65, Bride about 55 (including actors from ScreamQueenz) exorcist about 45…
That was cool as hell. Seems like it had a pretty rad story where the Bride survived but had to revive the Monster only for what looks like some lady vampire to get in the way. Could make for a pretty cool movie idea, honestly. Don't mind the masks at all as they're fitting in the surgical setting most of it takes place in as someone else mentioned, makes it seem like it's the same Bride throughout.
They appear to be Dracula's wives that he left behind when he moved to London. Makes me wish this was an actual movie that took place between Bride of Frankenstein and Son of Frankenstein, so it could flesh out the Monster's Mate more.

I'm really digging this plotline. It's not at all the same as the movie from the 30's, but they should go for it.
Yeah it's kinda weird how the Bride suddenly feels affectionate for the monster, because she was pretty terrified of him in the original movie and didn't give to craps about him, but the concept of her rebuilding the monster and fighting off demonic vampires is pretty badass. Would love to see it in a new film 👍

This Would Make An Awesome Horror Movie.
Ironically HHN made a more successful shared universe than the Dark Universe.
So nice to see it all the way through, you can really grasp the story! The scare in the woods with Bride and the vampire would have really gotten me. What was the scare zone at the end there?

It’s a scarezone called Silver Scream Queens which uses fictional female versions of the monster movies with the exception of Frankenstein’s Monster, and the Bride of Frankenstein.

Why do I think the haunted house may have a better storyline than the Bride film they were going to do?
Among the “Dark Universe” projects Universal wanted to do had Tom Cruise’s Mummy lived, was a, quote “feminist spin” on the Bride, by which most fans, automatically assumed they were remaking the 80’s Sting/Jennifer Beale movie.
Er, no: One look at the Bride, now professional Mad Scientist and Vampire Hunter saving her man, and I THINK we’re getting a sneak peek at the bullet we dodged…. 😱

Here's a stupid synopsis that actually explains it.
It take place after the movie. The monster pulled the level and castle came crashing down but the bride lived, realized "hey hes kinda hot. Maybe I shouldn't have screamed in his face and rejected him." She then decides to bring him back. She grabs the wives of Dracula and uses them to bring the big guy back.

The Orlando version of this walkthrough was complete garbage. This looks pretty damn good, especially the consistency in actresses.
That’s because the one in Orlando is connected to the film while the Hollywood version is connected to the previous house Frankenstein meets the Wolfman, and Universal Monsters which is the true Dark Universe.
In all honesty, while i like these real actors, i still somehow prefer Animatronics.
This is a haunted house, not a ride.

In Frankenstein meets the Wolfman house in 2019 the castle was destroyed, and Talbot escaped while the monster was killed. The Bride in love with the monster wants to bring him back to life so to resurrect the monster the Bride hunts down the brides of Dracula capturing, and killing them to use their blood to bring him back while using the villagers to feed Dracula’s brides, and dismembered their body parts to keep the monster from decaying. In the end she succeeded, and brings him back to life.
