This maze was fantastic. It had all the original Universal monsters. And it took like ten minutes to walk through it. It was a great attraction. I was shocked when they removed it. It wasn’t even replaced with something better because it can’t be topped.
THIS SHOUDL HAVE STAYED! Universal was FOUNDED on it’s Monsters. Bet you cash money when you think of Frankenstein or Dracula the image that Universal created of these creatures are the first that come to mind. Now that it’s gone it feels like going to Disneyland and NOT seeing Mickey Mouse. The Monsters need a Permanent home in Universal again!
When I was a kid I stood in line because I thought this was just a little horror museum but when we got to the front I made my parents leave because I didn’t wanna do the whole jump scare bs
Watching this in 2022 and I forgot how much I miss this. This and the Mummy permanent maze was my introduction to haunted houses/ mazes. They’re just pure fun and great ways to let your guard down and let yourself get scared. I always had my guard up IRL and I think these teach you to just relax… I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but since none of this is real, it’s easier to relax.
I appreciate videos like this, because although I had been through this attraction several times I never stopped to look at the displays, I was too freaked out or nervous to focus. Also the kiddie section with chairs/benches and coloring pages is such a neat idea for an attraction like this. I wish Universal had kept the House of Horrors.
When i went to america as a kid in 2013, this is the one thing that I absolutely loved. I went through this at least 20 times to the point they left their little enclosures just to scare my family. Amazingly dedicated staff in there. It sucks I won’t ever be able to go through that maze again.
The one place the Phantom Gets Justice in the park and its closing down... I want the Mask and Costume.... also that cool red Death Replica atop the Flight of Stairs.
I was lucky top gpo through this house when it was Van Helsing. People were screaming and some had tears, it was hysterical to see people running out. I have been with this display also which was also fun.
They shoulda left this up permanently!!! It was the best
Damn I went thru this as a kid I was crying like a mf 😂😂😂😂

Man I wish I could've gone through this before it closed.

This guy's just laughing I would have been screaming all the way
So they had a coloring table for kids?
I remember when I went through there were so many kids and their parents coming out in straight tears

This even had the flux capacitor from the back to the future ride next to Frankenstein
