Honestly the hill house in the film was so atmospheric that this doesn't do it justice at all, but if I knew nothing about it then this would be very impressive and creepy. I like the see-through wall screens.
I feel sorry for the actors in there who have to keep doing their sequences over and over again for god knows how many hours

It’s honestly not that bad, I love doing it over and over and getting all the good scares
the get money for compensation for the time they spend there, so I'm sure they are fine
They will earn a lot, so no worry :)
That's why i try to go through a maze at opening where the actors are all fresh up : )

I have to say, I'm enjoying the creativity with these mazes because of the limitations of the pandemic. The scares look awesome!
I remember going this year and I have to say that I was absolutely FLOORED with the creativity that year. Hysterically, some of my favorite mazes in HHN history were during the years of the pandemic, simply because of how much they had to adapt
I so wish I could go see this. Hill House helped me get through the early stages of the pandemic, and while there's certain elements of the show I'd change, I love it very much.
What would you change
@@haydenmcallister6647 The lack of backstory for the Hill family and the way the show handles mental illness. Being mentally ill doesn't automatically make people scary, evil, or dangerous, and people with mental health problems are actually much more likely to be victims of abuse than perpetrators of it. I say this as someone with severe anxiety and depression.

Didn't watch the show before going through this. Scariest house of the night, and got me into the Netflix show which was surprisingly great
I feel like these rides would be alot scarier without the background noise and just be complete silence. Then at random times do jump scares here and there.
I agree. Just sounds where they are needed. The voices without all the background cacophony. And jump scares here and there instead of one right after the other. It stops being scary and starts being annoying. Frankly, I though this attraction was doing great until the multitude of scare actors started popping out all over the place.

This one looks a lot better than the one in Orlando. They have one area where it’s a bunch of bent neck lady falling and you just hear her neck snapping
These sets blow me away every year!
I remember last year when they canceled hhn I thought next year better be good because they had more money and time on their hands lol hopefully i get to go and check it out this year

It’s an old magician trick. There is a pole from the window side holding the mannequin in place. There’s some videos where it looks like a lady (usually wearing a long flowing dress) that appears to be floating in the air and the magician pulls a hoop over her. The Masked Magician showed how its done.
Great video and great maze! I encourage you to film a second walkthrough, there are so many effects that it’s probably impossible to get them all in one take!

I want a Bly Manor one that's interactive, you have to be careful of the lady of the lake while walking through the maze and if you cross her way she drags you by the neck and takes you a lake (or kiddie pool in this case)

Kind of confused with what the rule on masks is, some have them some don't. Also it looks like someone learned what scrim is.
Sorry if this ruins the illusion but they all are actually wearing masks. The bent neck ladies faces aren't real faces and the tall man and the basement ghost also are wearing masks... Just over their whole head.

I understand safety concerns, but could they not have masks at the entrance for the guests to wear themselves? Seeing a ghost who's wearing a mask out of concern for getting sick doesn't make any sense.
Having to watch them with masks on try to.scate others is scarier than anything. Takes away from the whole point if it.

Not being funny but all these scare mazes videos lately don't look scary at all. They're all over polished with lots of noise and simple jump scares or static props.

Hollywood version of this maze sucks. In Orlando we got to see the entire exterior of the mansion before entering the maze.

This "haunt" is uninspired, languid and boring. Overall, HHN's best work in years!
In the context of the story and the ghostly inhabitants of the house, the masks on the scare actors are really friggin lame and take a lot away from the ambiance. And I understand, pandemic and safety of the scare actors, but the HHN houses are supposed to be immersive and the masks just take me out of it.
