wouldnt putting the air tube even though you put it in the rinse water, into the plating solution contaminate the plating solution? You might not get the tube totally clean. Shouldn't there be another distilled water cup to go into before it goes into the solution as each time you rinse in the 1st water container some cleaner ends up in the water and then can be deposited on the air tube?
Do you sell extra jars so you can have one for each solution to prevent contamination?

I need to plate some vial caps that are 6mm wide and about 6mm tall for my business. How many could I do at once and how long would the typical small bottle of plating solution last me (how many caps could it produce?...just a really rough estimate) And could I use the cleaning solution on some previously silver electroplated caps (that I got from a factory in China) then electroplate them again in gold? Thanks so much. I was going to have someone do this for me but am happy to see I can do this myself. I really appreciate the video!

Question : can one Rhodium plate on polished mild steel (not stainless or high carbon steel)?

I think probably that will not work because you would need at least one intermediate layer (copper), and then you plate rhodium on top. However, to get a higher quality plating you would probably need to plate with copper first, then nickel, and only then rhodium. I never plated with rhodium before so I would recommend looking around the Internet for more advice from people who share their electroplating experience.
