  • This is the new black, or maybe the new 'creamed spinach' would be better. But whatever you call it, just make it cuz it's fabulous.

We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

Sam, are you familiar with Italian swiss chard? It tastes pretty much the same, except - now I'm talking about the green swiss chard, not the red that you are using here - that the stalks are thin, the leaves are flat and not crinkled, and it's maybe a bit easier to grow. You just pluck the leaves you want, and in short order, they've grown back.
That is why Italian Swiss Chard (bietina) is also called "Perpetual Spinach".
    And now you know.

wrap it up in a dish towel to get rid of the water--same as you would for hash browns

Here's how I make creamed swiss chard. First, cook some cubed up bacon, onions, and then garlic, when the onions are browned (a little) and the garlic is fragrant, I add the swiss chard and cook it down. Then to finish I add HEAVY CREAM! Then cook it until it thickens.

We are absolutely nutmeg fans, and allspice -- which we learned to use with meat when making Swedish meatballs. Fabulous! I never had any idea nutmeg could be so delicious with meat. Try it, you'll love it!

Nice video, but a suggestion is for the camera man to be on the other side if possible because he is getting all elbow instead of really showing what you are doing well.

Interesting but I would have sautéed the chard and kept in the nutrients. You wet it, then dried it....looks yum but nutritionally, vitamins went down the sink.

Anytime I have to boil or even steam veggies, the nutrient-rich water is saved and given to our chickens once cooled. They LOVE IT! ❤️

It would be really nice if you would include a written version of the recipe. Because you have not, I will not make this, because I cannot take my computer into the kitchen. Why ever not a written recipe? WHY EVER NOT? Because you don't want people to make it?

that's how we make spanac but without the butter. Please don't swear anymore. It's really un-Jewish. Well it's just plain wrong. I like the recipe though.

Bianca Hotca, I agree wholeheartedly. There’s no need for vulgarity and lowers your salability as a channel.
