It is called Kpop not BTS. BTS is a group just like Stray Kids is a group. You can not compare them because they have totally different sounds. Have a look at Stray Kids Lalalala, God's Menu, Thunderous and so on. Kpop is a huge industry with many groups and sounds just like western artist.

To clarify BTS is actually another band/group and K-POP is the name of the industry that BTS, STRAY Kids, XG, and others come from. I know you said you are new and still learning so I wanna give you kudos for that, even noticing but not dissing on the use of makeup which is mainly used for performances and official events not necessarily everyday life. Don’t be turned off by those who are annoyed at you, but do take note that fandoms are really quite loyal and defensive (imagine super loyal NBL fans for a particular team) so don’t like comparisons. The Korean title of the song is actually 검이줄 (Gomi jul) which means Spiderweb. Only the English title is Venom. Other Stray Kids songs you might like: Megaverse, Lalalala, S-Class, Gods Menu, Top Line, Freeze, Maniac, and Thunderous.

Welcome to the fandom 🤗 since you have a couple of comments about the BTS confusion I won´t go into that 😉 Stray Kids has a discography that you won´t believe, they produce 99.9% of what they do (the beats, lyrics, production, composition, etc) even they create their own genre which is called Mala Taste. The song title in hangul (Korean way to write) 거미줄 actually means spiderweb, that's why you see a lot of references in the song about spiders and spiderwebs. The meaning behind why it is called venom as the English title is because it is about being trapped in a toxic relationship/society/... however you interpret it, so it means like venom that is slowly poisoning you while you are trapped in reference to the spiderweb. They do a lot of fun wordplay in their titles/albums/lyrics, like have a different word in Korean as the title than the English title.😂 Also, little information on the team; straykids is an 8 member group with no specific set roles (for ex. rapper, singer, dancer, ...) They are a 4th gen kpop boy group, meaning they debuted in 2017. To not be confused with BTS which is a 3rd gen kpop boy group, meaning they debuted in 2013. They are completely (like 99%) self-produced in meaning, they write, compose and arrange their songs themselves (with sometimes additional help). The producing unit is called 3racha which has 3 members of the group in it, Bang Chan, Changbin and Han. PS. I love the wordplay that 3Racha/Stray Kids brings to the table and there is nothing wrong with helping non & babyStay with correct information. Kpop has many wonderful groups. BTS is only one of many under a different company then Stray Kids. You'll find that Stray Kids doesn't really relate musically to other Kpop groups. They are a genre onto themselves. As other Stay (the fandom name) have stated, this is a primarily self producing group which is rather rare in the Kpop music Industry. One fact, BangChan (our fearless leader and main writer of the beats) chose the members himself, an experiment which JYP Entertainment's ceo decided along with the other upper management, to allow Chan (he has many nicknames Chani/Channie/Christopher/Chris/Best Leader -Note: In South Korea the names are written clan name/family name/ individual's name and individuals are listed by oldest to youngest member-), He along with Seo Changbin and Han Jisung (stage name Han) are the main producers of the group - though other members have begun writing music as well. I bet that many other Stays will suggest songs. To see the growth start with some of their early work from back in 2018 and perhaps look at some of their most recent songs Megaverse, Item, S-Class (from their 5 star album). This Stray Kids 😆 BTS a different group-- but they both cool asl. Stray Kids got crazy production, beats, videos, stage shows-- they chaotic and likable. Look forward to checkin out more of your reactions to them. KPop world is really complex and has a lot to enjoy. I wouldnt compare it too much to the US music scene in terms of like "Boy Bands" -- bc that sells it short, & kPop M/Vs are so much better IMO LOL, esp Stray Kids, their MVs are so high quality. It may take you a little longer to edit but you will enjoy seeing both. They have dance practices to many of their songs.

KPOP Groups. Mine are BTS, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, TXT, The Rose, Taemin(solo) OOO...RIIZE....They all sound different and distinct. There are groups great for any mood you are in. and then many groups do solo or unit songs, too. Deep dive ahead.

These guys are Stray Kids NOT bts... You should REALLY check out their other mv's, starting with God's Menu, Thunderous, Easy, Freeze, Maniac, Christmas EveL LaLaLaLa, S-Class and Topline. And their Sub-unit 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) who are also writers and producers of much of their content and songs. Check out their songs (no mv's) "HeyDay", their name sake song "3RACHA". They call their music genre "Mala Taste or Mixed Taste". They don't considered their music kpop.

Yeah and they are wearing a lot of make up in this particular video! It's expected for kpop boy bands to wear make up and it took me a bit of time up get used to. Stray kids are phenomenal, i highly recommend checking out more of their stuff, especially their more rap tracks.

good choice becoming a STRAY KIDS fan. You should look up "Easy" & "Tortoise and the hare." You should also look up a kpop group called Ateez. They are super good as well. I recommend from Ateez songs "Bouncy," "Hala Hala," "Halazia," "MATZ," & "Crazy Form." Little side note, Be very careful what you say about kpop groups. Never compare them. Never put them down. You could start a fan war. Those can get really nasty. So, only talk about the group you are watching. BTS "ARMY" has taken down a lot of people (even famous ones "Ellen") for talking bad about BTS. Stray Kids "Stay" are also very protective. I say that as a huge fan of a few kpop groups myself. These are Stray Kids not BTS. It's considered K-POP. You are probably way too young to remember but in the US in the 80's during the big hair band era the men wore makeup. Steve Tyler still wears makeup. Let me tell you during that time the guys used to spend more time on their hair and makeup than girls did.

The song title in hangul (Korean way to write) 거미줄 actually means spiderweb, that's why you see a lot of references in the song about spiders and spiderwebs.
The meaning behind why it is called venom as the English title is because it is about being trapped in a toxic relationship/society/... however you interpret it, so it means like venom that is slowly poisoning you while you are trapped in reference to the spiderweb.
They do a lot of fun wordplay in their titles/albums/lyrics, like have a different word in Korean as the title than the English title.😂
Also, little information on the team; straykids is an 8 member group with no specific set roles (for ex. rapper, singer, dancer, ...)

Kpop has many wonderful groups. BTS is only one of many under a different company then Stray Kids.
You'll find that Stray Kids doesn't really relate musically to other Kpop groups. They are a genre onto themselves.
As other Stay (the fandom name) have stated, this is a primarily self producing group which is rather rare in the Kpop music Industry. One fact, BangChan (our fearless leader and main writer of the beats) chose the members himself, an experiment which JYP Entertainment's ceo decided along with the other upper management, to allow Chan (he has many nicknames Chani/Channie/Christopher/Chris/Best Leader -Note: In South Korea the names are written clan name/family name/ individual's name and individuals are listed by oldest to youngest member-), He along with Seo Changbin and Han Jisung (stage name Han) are the main producers of the group - though other members have begun writing music as well.
I bet that many other Stays will suggest songs. To see the growth start with some of their early work from back in 2018 and perhaps look at some of their most recent songs Megaverse, Item, S-Class (from their 5 star album).

This Stray Kids 😆 BTS a different group-- but they both cool asl. Stray Kids got crazy production, beats, videos, stage shows-- they chaotic and likable. Dude, BTS is another boy group. This music is called kpop, that mean korean pop. Stray kids and BTS are different groups. I also wan to say I really like your open mindness, thank you so much.
good choice becoming a STRAY KIDS fan. You should look up "Easy" & "Tortoise and the hare."
You should also look up a kpop group called Ateez. They are super good as well. I recommend from Ateez songs "Bouncy," "Hala Hala," "Halazia," "MATZ," & "Crazy Form."
Little side note, Be very careful what you say about kpop groups. Never compare them. Never put them down. You could start a fan war. Those can get really nasty. So, only talk about the group you are watching. BTS "ARMY" has taken down a lot of people (even famous ones "Ellen") for talking bad about BTS. Stray Kids "Stay" are also very protective. I say that as a huge fan of a few kpop groups myself. Such as (Group name 1st, Fan name 2nd)
BTS "ARMY," Stray Kids STZ "Stay," Ateez "Atiny," Enhypen "Engine," & TXT "Moa."
But, kpop is worth listening to. I hope you keep watching them.

These are Stray Kids not BTS. It's considered K-POP. You are probably way too young to remember but in the US in the 80's during the big hair band era the men wore makeup. Steve Tyler still wears makeup. Let me tell you during that time the guys used to spend more time on their hair and makeup than girls did.

Stray Kids is an 8 members group gather by the lider of the group Bang Chan (this is the only k-pop group formed this way. Usually the label company decides who gets to be the members of a group)
Stray Kids are self-produced. They create 99% of they're music and are also very involved in the choreography creation.
The group has debuted in 25/03/18 and the members are:
Bang Chan(26) (The Lider) , Changing(24) and Han(23). They are also known as the producers and songwriters - 3Racha subunit.
Lee Know(25), Hyunjin(23) and Felix(23) also known by the name of- Dance Racha subunit . All of them have solo songs composed by themselves.
Seugmin(23) and I.N(22) as the Vocal Racha subunit. They have released solo and cover songs.
They all are skilled in dancing, they all can rapp or sing and lately all of them are getting intrested in songwriting and producing.
