Considering the generation of today cannot do anything for themselves, this seems like a good idea. Also will be very useful when humans no longer have arms and legs and we are just a head in a jar. Thank you guys for looking out for our future.

Autonomous vehicles will cause mass unemployment - drivers, mechanics, doctors, lawyers, insurance agents due to no or few accidents. Parkings, hotels motels as no one will need to take a stop, to name a few...
That is nonsense. That is not how economics works. Autonomous cars would create many new jobs such as technicians, computer scientists. It would also boost the economy as more with conditions that prohibits them from driving will be able to get jobs as cars would drive themselves.
There will be jobs in coding, IT, and the tech field. Stop crying and adjust to the times. There has always been people bitching and crying in every industrial revolution.

Just in time for 15 minute cities. These cars won't be allowed to leave your district. No more road trips. You'll own nothing and be happy. This is why eventually gas cars will be banned. They don't want you going anywhere.

What a bunch of Hogwash! It makes no difference what the human versus machine relative accident rate is. What matters is who is liable when an autonomous car whacks someone. When a person causes an accident then he/she is liable and can potentially go to jail for life. Do you think we will hold a CEO to that level of liability? NO WAY! Keep your autonomous cars away from the public.
Right from the start, the guy can't do math.
