Hi, Is it ok to run the pen against a ruler to get a true straight line, and if so should it be a metal or plastic ruler. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Hi, You can do this, however the filament will likely stick to the ruler. We would advise drawing the straight line first onto photo paper and then tracing over the top of the line. Hope this helps!
It looks like you have to press the but pretty hard. Look ar how white her thumb is and her grip on the pen looks intense. I'm going to pass cause of my arthritis.

Hi, The red light blinks to notify you that the pen is heating up. If the red light continues to flash for more than 30 seconds, then please ensure that you are using the correct power supply. It should be 5V 2A. If it is any less than this then there is a lack of power being drawn into the pen and therefore it cannot heat up to the required temperature. We hope this helps, but please don't hesitate to get in contact with our support team at support@polaroid3d.com should you need further assistance!
Hi Kimberely, please make sure you have an adequate power supply. This must be a 5.0VDC - 2A source. Please also check our support page where you can find a very useful information www.polaroid3d.com/en/support-polaroidplay3dpen/ , and if you still need our assistance contact us directly www.polaroid3d.com/en/contact/ .

Polaroid always producing new products but stop producing materials which you need to use with polaroid devices. If you purchase this item, you will be in trouble to find plastics.

Not impressed and I haven’t even turn it on! Brought the wooden chalet and there is no template. No instructions on sizing. No wonder it’s reduced in price and still I don’t think that it’s worth it.
czcams.com/video/6aeELT_ClRA/video.htmlfeature=shared This is my first attempt with a Polaroid 3-D Pen. I realize your video is 6 years old. But is Polaroid still making 3-D Pens?
Top of the pen looks very chunky. Just thinking usefulness when making accurate things. And in other words - this works exactly like hot glue, therefore I see word "3D" unnecessary.
ivan55599 well, I think you’re incorrect. Unlike a hot glue gun, that uses melted glue, this pen uses melted plastic which can be used to create 3D objects. Therefore, the acronym “3D” is necessary. Yes, it works very similar to a hot glue gun, but the material they melt are totally different and have totally different properties.
