-explodes a giant bomb in a buried temple to save jester
-dives into the mouth of a giant baby abomination to save beau

I love how Sam's characters are always silly on the surface but look underneath and they are some of the most complex, interesting, and powerful characters in media. Their development is absolutely stellar and it always hits hard when you realize just how much more they are than they seem.

Nott has really gone through a lot of changes in this campaign. She went from just being someone who was supporting Caleb and trying to steal and help him become more powerful to someone that has become her own person and gone through her own personal changes, figurative and literally. And some how you've managed to capture that in this song.

Peace disturbed. The onset of tragedy... and a new life begets adventure.
Placing story to the song. Inspired by Justin Harless's comment on Aiden Chan's "Beau Theme". I don't comment often so let me know if there's something wrong.
SPOILER WARNING
0:00 - 0:05 : Overview of Felderwin.
0:06 - 0:18 : Silouette of a Halfling being pushed around and made fun of.
0:18 - 0:35 : Lightning flashes cutting to a close up of goblin eyes opening and a plan set in motion to escape a prison.
0:36 - 0:47 : Nott picks the lock to their cage and sneaks past goblin guards with Yeza carrying Luc.
0:48 - 1:00 : They almost make it out of the camp but are spotted so they make a run for it.
1:01 - 1:11 : Realizing the goblins are going to catch up Nott gets Yeza to run away with Luc.
1:12 - 1:14 : Nott readys herself.
1:15 - 1:50 : Nott runs in another direction and shouts as a distraction. At 1:27 the goblins catch up so Nott fends off the goblins with acids and claws. At 1.43 there is a brief victory
when Nott manages to kill the goblin boss only to realise at 1:49 that there are still many goblins and she can't escape.
1:51 - 2:07 : Nott is captured struggling all the way to a crooked figure who performs a ritual on her. At 2:04 the ritual is
complete and she stop struggling falling limp.
2:08 - 2:33 : Nott is put to work at the goblin camp with tasks getting worse and worse. At 2:32 The straw finally breaks when she finds a piece of human baby
in her meal.
2:33 - 2:57 : Nott makes preparations to escape the camp. At 2:45 she's near the entrance of the camp ready to make a run for it.
2:57 - 3:20 : Dashing through the woods ignoring branches and twigs stinging her face, every sound causes her to flinch fearing for goblins or beasts.
3:20 - 3:29 : Nott thinking she's made it far enough stops by a river to get a drink of water. At 3:24, she sees her reflection in it and realizes what she's turned into.
3:29 - 3:40 : Nott wonders around in despair realizing that she can't go back to her family like this and wondering what to do now as
the background scene changes from the forest to a to a street to an prison cell until she sees Caleb at 3:40.
*Flashes of different scenes start to appear

3:40 : Escaping from prison with Caleb and their time together as a scam duo.
3:54 : Meeting the Mighty Nein. At 4:01 she's starting to get comfortable with them. Different scenes of their adventures appear with each scene showing Nott's interaction with
every member of the Nein like learning spells with Caleb or Jester and her defacing the shrine of Bahamut.
4:20 : Scenes of Nott's greatest moments start to appear like creating Fluffernutter and stealing buttons and trinkets while she is becoming confident in herself and the party.
4:45 : The scene of Isharnai's hut appears briefly before we get an outside view of the Lavish Chateau. We zoom in to see the mighty nein standing around an expensive bathtub. Caleb hugs Nott around 5:00.
5:06 : The ritual begins as Nott is encased in clay which turns into a hot bright orange. The party looks on in worry.
5:30 : The clay around Nott explodes filling the room with dust obscuring vision. The camera pans slowly through the dust to reveal halfling eyes open at 5:43.

That was an emotional journey and a half. Holy crap.
You cast identify on the item. It is is the +6 horn of sonic orchestration. In the even you are able to play instruments, it grants you some special bonuses, but for now, the most immediately relevant part is that it can also be used to receive sound, similar to an ear-horn, and to interpret its meaning. Interpretations of all sound-sensory rolls are increased by 5 when using this in such a manner, along with an additional 3 if attempting to decypher magical songs. When used such, it also allows understanding of any language. Only understanding though. You cannot use it to talk back.
I wonder if Veth will have her own theme? I see Nott in this very much so. I personally see Nott and Veth as different characters.

I dont see them as diff characters just different aspects of her personality are more exaggerated on each form. But because of that i wouldnt be surprised if there was a different theme

I love how you can hear the exact moment she transforms into Veth, when the music halts and a new, more serene but familiar melody flows in. Every one of your Critical Role orchestrations just blow me away. Not only are they incredible pieces of art on their own, but they fit the characters so well it feels like I'm watching their entire story and backstory flash before my eyes. Than you for sharing your talent with us!
Everyone's talking about how well the strings fit and I'm just over here with my jaw on the ground over the percussion. It's used sparingly but when it hits it hits HARD, not unlike Nott/Veth both in combat and her absurdly well thought out and subtle rp moments.
So Happy to be seeing so much new content, you are one of my favorite music artists and i use your music for inspiration and ambiance in my own D&D games!
