1975 is when I saw Rufus and Chaka in concert as a high school graduation present. Still as fresh and engaging as ever. Wonderful performance by excellent musicians.

I was at OU January 1975 one of the most memorable times in my life being on the University of Oklahoma as scholarship athlete running the quarter mile with Roommate Jerry King. Room we took the mile relay May 1975 against top notch Kansas Jayhawks of the Big 8. Held at the John Jacobs track in Norman, Oklahoma.. and during the year this song was played at Alpha Phi Alpha house on campus. And the Q Doggs at Wazuri lounge.
