They are mind-blowingly affordable these days with low miles. That aggressive wide and low-to-the-ground body is just epically unique and timeless. I will absolutely own one someday. Been a dream car since I was a kid too.

Great Video. Looked at the Gen. 1 and almost got one. Fell in Love with a GTS Gen 2 and got it.
I prefer the GTS. I just don't like convertibles.

Yeah, and the torque curve still is insane. It’s pushing close to what most sports cars now peak at by around 2k rpm. You can race spec sheets all day, but frankly nothing matches the experience of a gen 1/2 viper

That’s some major negative thinking, I never thought I’d get one then I did and then I lost it and got negative stinking thinking then I remembered anything’s possible.
This is considered one of the most dangerous sports cars made. I have one. and to hold a cell phone in your right hand while you take your hands off the steering wheel and shift with your left hand is not to smart. He didn't look like he could handle the car very well and was not proficient at driving it. Punching it in stalled traffic. I guess there are reasons why 50% of these beautiful cars were wrecked in the first year. I have one and do all my racing on the track with experienced drivers.

So i checked how much vipers are used in Australia its around $120-170,000 . Compared to any other v10 platform that's a bargain

Cannot explain it, but the Turbo does not do it for me.
A GT3 would be super nice, but I really like my PDK and pretty sure the 997.2 GT3 is only in a manual box.
As far as body shape goes, for me the 997.2 is the sweet spot in the 911 water cooled and Carrera S is the model.
Out of those three, the 458 would be number one by a country mile

I love my Viper RT/10. And the Gen 2 Vipers with the rear exhaust have a different sound than the side exhausts. 120k miles and counting see here!

Love the viper but not a fan of the v10 sound.
It's a strange sound on the RT10 or the side exhaust Vipers, but on the GTS it sounded pretty good.
And they get pretty awesome with a cam and some longtube headers.
