Is this the safest road, gravel or MTB helmet? It comes in 7 different color, uses GIRO's proprietary AURA II Reinforcement Arch which makes it about 5% lighter than the Aether. It uses the unique ball-and-socket design, powered by MIPs. This helps to redirect impact forces. it also has Progressive Layering (which mates two densities of EPS foam to address a wide range of impact energy). It was even rated number 1in reducing the risk of injury by Virginia Tech. Aries also outperformed the previous Aether by 2.3% when it comes to cooling. Aries also use the evolutionary DryCore sweat management system, which uses a soft silicone bead to redirect sweat away from forehead and temples. It also reduces drag by 4% over the Aether Spherical.

Ciao, very nice and detailed video, quick question I was thinking to buy this one but I have no idea about sizing and fitting, what’s your head circumference? Mine is 58,5 in theory M should work for me, any suggestions? I do not have chance to try it before buying

I have the Medium and I am 57,5. But in hind site I think I should have gone with the large as I have adjusted it to max setting when wearing a buff. Would be best to go to a shop and try it on first

Clearly not. MIPS is not unique to Giro. Furthermore, it is not a full face helmet so hardly safe for serious mountain biking.
