I like this aproach on smart batteries unlike spektrum. you can use any connectors on the battery and still get the smart charge feature

Mark! I dig your videos! I have a question my fellow hobbyist!..I thought you were the man to ask being the RC Wizard you are! I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos, so keep it up my dude!..anyway..I bought a Gens Ace Bashing Pro lipo 3s from A-Main not long ago and after taking out of the box, I checked it out on my charger..cell 1 is at 1.32v and cell 2 is at 4.99v!..cell 3 3.82. I’m being sent a brand new one, but I was thinking If anyone knows how to finesse the voltage back to where is supposed to be, it would be you! Do you have any suggestions? It would be totally awesome to hear back!

This is off the subject, but do you recommend sway bars for your E Revo 2.0?
I had to stop using gens ace battery's for my 10 scale racing buggies. They buff up quickly compared to my pro tech and trinity battery's. For the amount of money These battery's cost I will go with the ones that last twice as long. And yes I charge them all at the same C ratting.

@@gabesnowball4723 There is no telling there are honestly many factors that go into it. I charge all of my batteries at a 3c ratting my pro tech and trinity batteries seem to handle it just fine plus the discharge rate when I am racing. I mean who knows it could have been a bad batch I got of the gens ace. But when spending 80 to 120 per battery it is not a theory I want to test.
Ya just plug it in then wait 10hrs at 5 amps and ur all set 🤣
Those "smart" chargers are just a way to lock a customer into their propitiatory battery architecture. They are no better than using a high quality charger on regular packs.
