this is truely a Who's Who of country music females. would have loved to be in the audience for the taping of "The Women of Country". every female on stage looked like they were having fun. Lynn Anderson is a prime example .
No one is trying to up-stage anyone, they seemed to respect each other and their talents.
That's when the music is at its best - when the music makers' hearts are in it.
Wow, so much talent on one stage...FANTASTIC !
Oh wow I can't believe they did this and I didn't see it. Amazing first lady's or country music never again will there be a group of true country legends on stage together.

I remember watching this in 1992. When all the older country singers walk on, you got to see how far country music had come, up to that point. Now in 2015 and with all the younger female country artists, we can be sure that we will have more great country music to come.
The Matriarchs of Country Music...and everything they got, they got the hard way. But they paved the way for the women who came after.

Truly a one of a kind a performance, Such an incredible array of talented performers on the same stage at the same time.
I saw Jeannie Seely, Wanda Jackson, Tammy Wynette, Rose Maddox, Patsy Montana?, Jeanne Pruett, Winona Judd and who else? Was Kitty Wells in there? This made me cry, I love these women so much, what an amazing show this must have been!!!
Lynn Anderson is in there too.
To name a couple of others. Wilda Cooper, Naomi Judd, Kitty Wells, Jean Shepherd , Suzy Boguss, Pam Tillis and several more I can’t think of their names. Great performance.

Did Wanda Jackson perform? Saw her twice here on Amelia Island with her relative downtown. Wasn't sure it was her, but later verify with some videos on CZcams.

No talent shows. No politics. These ladies were the real deal. No one can match Miss Tammy Wynette. And I do mean NO ONE!! They really did earn the hard way.
