    Come on, people, give Sloane some love. Stop criticizing her for trivial reasons. She is doing her best, she earned more than what some of us will ever earn in our lifetime, AND she's still playing and traveling the world. Go AL you're the best weatherman EVER, God bless you!!

    Only 60 women have won grand slams in the Open Era..that’s less than 1% of the top 100..yet alone an even more micro fraction of all tennis pros-> along with endorsements and partnerships over the years Sloane Stephens is an icon. Haters go find a ditch.

    Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys have done a good job managing their personal/professional tennis life, and I can admire that. But as a tennis fan, I can’t help but think how much better they could’ve been if they were more committed to the sport. Then again, I’m only judging from what I can observe as I compare them to other athletes in the sport-I have no idea what kind of personal challenges they had to face.

    • @ddhh1270
      @ddhh1270 Před 2 měsíci +3

      How do you know they are not fully committed?

    • @davidd6637
      @davidd6637 Před 2 měsíci

      @@ddhh1270 Well, for argument sake let’s compare Madison and Sloane to a couple of top players with similar talents. Madison can serve and hit the ball as big (probably bigger) as Rybakina, yet despite being similar in size, Elena moves and defends much better, serves more consistently and almost never loses to lesser players as Madison does. Stephens can play and defend almost as good as Coco Gauff (watch the 2018 French Open Final), and has a much better forehand, yet she’s almost never seeded because her ranking is so low. In your personal opinion, who do you think is more committed to the sport, Rybakina and Coco or Madison and Sloane? Who’s putting the time and effort (commitment) to be better than the rest and who’s trying to balance life and work better?
