    I think most fans can understand the argument that Joseph is still only young and inexperienced and the games are too important to risk starting him, fair enough, but got fuck sake when Bamford has done virtually nothing why on earth would you wait until 80+ minutes to bring him on. That is inexcusable.

      @benjamindavidscargill5633 Don't think this argument stands up, he's a spanish international who is getting games, he's older than Archie, and BumFluff is no where near national team selection, this will become another Joffy situation and this is so wrong what does the lad need to do to get a game? Granted if he plays in a first half outing then judge him on tht performance, but he DID score two against Chelsea!

Don't get me wrong, if it was up to me he'd have been getting games for weeks now and he'd be properly match ready.

    We've had a much needed rest and now we can kick on. We won at Leicester when they were on a roll and we can win at Middlesboro' and QPR. Home for the last game and if it's a decider for automatic promotion we can take that.

    Calgary calling, personally I think we will beat Boro, QPR may be tougher but we need to win both. Leicester have WBA and then Saints...they may only take 1 point from those 2. I think Leicester are the ones who may fall away having listened to their fans, Locks etc so we must get 2 wins and go top and then watch Ipswich sweat and maybe we have to beat Saints at ER....which in that hostile cauldron...we will. We could still be Champions...ALAW, MOT. I can't even consider play offs lol

    To use a Klaesson metaphor: The problem with Farkeball is it is based on 75 minutes of one gear football, driving in the middle lane of the motorway, trying to be risk free, at 50mph. Farke then realises he needs to put the foot down, take more panicked risks, and the tactic becomes that of the outside lane twat in a German car, but who then hits a roadblock and writes off the car. A Karma epitaph awaits Farke & the club, more likely than a goal or forward pass from Kamara. đŸ€·

    25:20 said this last week. Elland road has been flat a lot and now fans been too self righteous and toxic which gets to players like Rutter bamford etc

    • @AshleyJohnson-vs2gq
      @AshleyJohnson-vs2gq Pƙed 11 dny

      There’s reasons for the flatness though. A hangover from relegation, the previous highs of Bielsa and a current squad without much personal feel to it means we’re scratching around for an atmosphere in my opinion. We’re in a position where if we don’t go up we lose all our best players, and if we do go up we likely lose the vast majority of our games for a couple of seasons (unless the 49ers go big money wise). Think all that contributes to a flat atmosphere personally.

      @@AshleyJohnson-vs2gq nope. It’s self righteousness. Spoilt fans thinking we would be back playing UCL by 2024. Moaning middle aged men or whining GenZ fans that jumped on 5-6 years ago. We are the problem for not 100% supporting the team. Relegation was 12 months ago, Bielsa was 2 years ago. Farke has worked wonders with what he walked into in the summer. @@soapboxparishrecordings5287 The atmosphere has been average all season apart from a game or two here and there like Ipswich & Leicester. Really not sure what your point is there, so not sure how to respond. You say Farke has worked wonders. Yes the summer and start of the season was a mess, but after the window shut he's had arguably the strongest and most expensive squad in the division. Whether you agree or not, the paying fans are well within their rights to voice their concerns when we look tactically inept to deal with teams like Blackburn.
      A flat atmosphere is not the fans being toxic, it's the club as a whole recovering from a toxic year last year.

    My assertion for the game at Middlesbrough would be to start Joseph and Gnonto/James and Anthony, with Archie in midfield and Gruev, Rodon and Amps. I would leave Cree and Rutter on the bench, and see what happens in the first half. Too many teams know that when rutter plays he will only pass to cree and that then limits and stifles all the play down the left, teams are now wise to this. If the opposition plays ten men behind the ball, then shoot more often to win corners or deflections taking advantage of Creswells attributes at corners, they will know we will be coming for a win so they will have studied what BB did, I think if we get the ball into the box much more often and a lot faster it will force mistakes ideal for Josepth, I would like the team if possible to keep the ball in their half at all times. I agree a lot with phil, but the mentality was extremely suspect for the last 5 games, I hope in training that Farke has been working on corners, dead balls and movement, and quicker passing. If in the second half we are still nil nil, then introduce Cree, Ruts, And Bamford/James, but I 'am not hopeful BumFluff will have any impact. Right back is now a problem so not to sure what Farke will do but my suspicion will be Archie goes back there in that case Kamara comes on then I think we will be looking at a draw! Don't factor out that Leeds is always a cup final to any team historically, but I really hope Farke can motivate them to win with hunger and desire! If they win we are still in with a chance a draw or lose then it's the playoffs good or bad, this could be Farkes strategy to play for time to be ready for the playoffs (it could be the team is weaker than is generally thought). ***MOT***

    I don't get when you have Bamford off form, Piroe can't play the no.9 position, that you would have anything to lose at this point about playing an international u21 player. I think pressure is a weak argument e.g Rooney, Owen, CR7. So is Farke just stubborn or incompetent đŸ€·

      @the_dark_one6052 Agree the main issue with Piroe is his speed, especially when you are trying to press, people say he is only 24, but as you get older you don't usually get quicker.
