Will fit the following P3 Volvos 2006-2013 S60 V60 XC60 S80 V70 XC70.

I just upgraded my11 v60 d5 manual transmission with a digital cluster. The donor was a 2017 d2 and the only 2 things that don t work are power indicatir and eco mode. No software was written, only the 2 wires connected. My question is, there is any posibility that power indicator to work with a proper software for the cluster (d5 one instead of the one it cane with?) if i ‘ ll try vdash? Just saw some videos with older cars (2008/2009 v70 or s80 where power indicator worked partially. Thanks! Alex
Did you found the solution for your problems? I have the same in my V60 2.4 d5 2011 but automatic transmission. Everything works fine, but power/eco indicator don't works.

@@Kr8Music how bro and where? I haven't seen DTSC in scrolling menu and it's disappeared from that menu, City safety info, too. All that systems works but I can turn it off cause there is no option...
does it still show all warnings and infos?? For example if there is a malfunction of say the auxilery heater or service due?

The 6 cyl is a great engine for feeling warmed up as soon as you start it, it's great though to see a temp guage! Let me know how quickly our engine does actually warm up.

Performance mode makes me want to rev the engine. I keep it most of the time in Elegance.

Does it also display all the messages coming from the car? Like door open, maintenance messages, etc...? And could you do a video where you show the soldering part of the wires into the OBD?

+M Silva Did not want it too long. It's 6 adapter wires soldered to obd2 wires.
You can now have them program it to say R Design on power up. It looks very cool.

Volvosweden or anybody else out there ..what Volvo part # are we looking for in the used market...seems there's a few out there out of 2014..2015 S60's but the apt.guide says it won't fix. [could be because of the module that's needed for it to work in our 2011 XC 70]... so a part # would help a lot.

Great video Yuri, you're a man of great patience! I love the elegance mode it matches your trim nicely. I don't think the ECO mode matters anyhow, certainly not with an i6 with a turbo (T6). All the best to enjoy m8!

If I change into the old speedometer. It will read the km and it will be update.
The problem is that in Spain we have to pass a technical inspection every year and this modification is not allowed. So many people mount and umount the panels every year for the inspection
I am wondering if you have found anyone who can alter the color of the preformence mode from red to blue?
I very much recommend disconnecting the battery before you remove the gauge cluster (or the steering wheel). On many cars removing the cluster (or the wheel) results in the SRS/Airbag unit recording a fault code that you may not be able to erase yourself.

+Antilaakeri The blue is just R Design software that can be ordered from them for additional $. I did not like it and that is why I don't have it.

I see there's 6 wires coming off the adapter but there are 7 wires coming from the obd2? Which wire doesn't get connected?
I can't remember. But you will get instructions.
Very nice looking TFT. Not sure about the module installation and wire soldering. Looks like there might be a few occasional glitches. Suggest you show soldering just one of the wires.
Nothing special on the wiring. I could cut and reconnect instead of soldering.

Email vespervolvo@gmail.com your VIN number and tell them that you already have a used TFT panel. They will tell you how much for the adapter.

Did you try without the adapter cable ? I did and nothings on. Only fuel and shifter on. But shifter off after few seconds

At 5:12... What's a power scale? (That now it doesn't work)
The smaller, upper indicator shows the engine's available power (depending on rpm). The higher the reading on the scale, the greater the amount of power remaining in the current gear.
The larger, lower indicator shows the amount of engine power that has been utilized (depending on rpm). The higher the reading on the scale, the greater the amount of power that is being utilized.
The larger the gap between the two indicators, the greater the amount of power remaining.
you make a lot of upgrades and i really enjoy to see your informative videos. But IMHO you don't make the most important. The BSR horsepower kit which transformer the accelerator of the car in another league. Greetings from Greece

Have you checked whether adding an adapter spoils any further communication with VIDA or not? Police cars, ambulances and lpg converted vehicles often need the 3rd party oBd adapters to be disconnected, so that VIDA can communicate with the vehicle properly and a new SW can be pushed onto the car... otherwise, it works, kind of until a subsequent full SW recovery might be needed

volvosweden , a typical warning sign would be if it takes vida a few attempts to read the car config reliably, even if this happens only occasionally. Some other symptoms extend to CEM readout and access failures after DTCs have been read.
If any of the above symptoms are present, please be careful. Disconnecting the 3rd party oBd adapters fix the problem.
I haven't had any problems reading the car (except the DIM for obvious reasons). Haven't tested loading software, but I'd guess that works as well.
You did a great job! It looks so much better then stock. Your video production it top rate. I am the proud owner of a 2007 S80 V8 AWD. It has your same dash and console except mine is all black. When you say power indicator, what do you mean? I'm embarrassed that I still don't know what you mean. Like you, I do all the work on my car myself.

Hi Volvosweden, when your soldering the wires onto the obd how did you do it? did you cut them and join or just splice and solder onto it?
