Alijah plays like the way Gilbert talks about himself in highschool😂
But thing thing is GIL WAS REALLY LIKE THAT IN HIGH SCHOOL !!!
I saw and met Gil at Jordan camp, i attended 2 years in a row when i was hoopin in HS (99 & 00). Dude is hella coo. He just graduated HS on his way to AZ, dude was KILLIN during what they called the "Counselor Game" which was played at the end of the day against the likes of D. Miles, J.Jack, Q. Richardson, and Jordan himself was on the court. That day i knew he was different, became a fan, and followed his whole career. Needless to say if it wasn't for injuries he would've had a much more successful career because he was the FIRST PG of his kind. Now it's the norm.
I grew up in the Valley and saw Gil play in high school and college. The guy is the fastest person Ive seen with the ball in his hands. He was a blur@@remidibeatz8780
Gil was like that.....
You corny asf if you don't know that Gil was really like that tho
GIL IS TEACHING HIM SUPER DETAILED SHIT! HIS BAG IS CRAZY
Yeah, like still trying to shake a guy when he is inches from a backcourt(actually committed the offense 3 times before it was finally called). Or trying to split defenders when there was zero chance and got picked, when he couldve easily passed. This was the most pathetic example of a game of basketball i have ever seen. The coaches should be fucking ashamed of themselves. And im not the type that wants a slow ass big ten type game or dont want the old days where ya just dump into post every play.....but this is just absolute fucking chaos.

@@LeGoat-23 Exactly and it's obvious if he just let loose he'd score a lot more. He has all the talent but he plays subdued too much.
I also think that he’s not trying to score as much because if he’s not as successful then he’s gonna catch a lot of heat. He’s trying to be a team player and from what I seen he’s a decent defender but he’s definitely got to elevate his offensive game. 1.4 flat all day. He is nice now putting on some muscle and heading to the league. IQ is 💪💪💪
WHERE DID YOU SEE IQ? They dont even run any plays. He made some absolutely boneheaded turnovers by simply not passing out of trouble. And not saying he wont develop IQ(and he is super super young) but to say he has strong IQ now is comical.
Skills off the chart, confidence next level, hella poised and sportsmanship top notch… what stood out to me is how well he plays through contact and how money he is from the free throw line. Without those they might’ve taken an L. This kid is the truth and has soooo much room for growth still.

Watching Alijah play is like watching that episode of Fresh Prince when will joined the basketball team😂
Dem lil guys played hard and with Heart
Look at all the double teams he tried to dribble through and jack up shots through instead of passing to the open man
Alijah game reminds me of Grant Hill in High School same foot work spin and moves and identical jump shot He handles the ball well thou still got alot of work to do he's definitely problem to deal with on another level. The kid is a beastly great job Gill. Good showing brother and all the best with your son.💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💯

Kid's very good but he's gotta pass way more. Him dribbling on two guys with open teammates watching 😊
Nawwwwww he don't. Passing is much easier to learn. Generally speaking you would be right. but this is a special talent whose development needs to take a different course. watch the earlier games and then compare how much better his teammates are playing now. The reason they are playing better is because Double A has taken all the pressure off them. you cant get to this point with him passing way more.
@@BigQualoits a playofg game. They need to win not develop players. If an open pass leads to an easy bucket....pass the ball. The dude can play tho. He just shoots a little too much.

50 crazy on any level ,
People saying that he ignores open passes must not have watched the whole film are any of his other games he does pass the ball but like Kobe said when you’re the best player on the court, of course you’re gonna take the shot. I think of course he’s only a sophomore and there’s a lot of things he has to work on but I think you’ll be just fine. One thing Arizona already could use is that he’s an amazing free-throw shooter. He has great ball control and driving to the hoop Nifty moves that I’m sure he got from his dad. He’s young so he’ll learn that when he’s getting trapped to dump the ball off a couple plays where he turned it over he could’ve easily passed it, but also couldn’t see away from the ball possibly there wasn’t someone to give it to. All in all very impressed with his scoring and how he can finish out the hoop don’t like comparing other pros kids with others but I saw someone say way better than Bronny and offensively I would give him that, but I definitely need to see more on defense didn’t see too much on this film. I’m sure he plays good Defense, but as athletically gifted as he will be compared to other kids, I’m gonna need to see some monster blocks and some good on and off the ball defense
He gils son for real that a good thing cuz he cooking hibachi style no passing
Was dude yelling at Gilbert?😳 Wow he was animated😮😂 13:08
