- New Orleans Style Bread Pudding with a Vanilla Bourbon Cream Sauce is such an amazing dessert that's perfect for the holidays and family gathering. While it's different that traditional Pudin de Pan, it's still super delicious! This easy to make dessert uses French Bread, Raisins, and Almond. Altogether they form the perfect and the best bread pudding! Give it a try and remember that you can always leave out the Bourbon or use your favorite rum. Buen Provecho!

Girl you are super cute...Grew up in NOLA and I love bread pudding. Tip my momma would use french bread and a combination of sweet breads like Raisin bread, and glazed or powdered doughnuts... We used Rum or Bourbon depending on what dad was drinking at the time. We never added almonds or cloves but hey...no hating here

This is my third year making this extraordinary dish. My boyfriend won't let me make any other dessert for Christmas and it is always a hit in Christmas parties. I also put bourbon in the bread pudding besides the Raisins.
Of all the bread pudding recipes out here, yours called to me the most. Its in the oven now and the sauce is done. If the bread pudding is anything near as good as the bourbon sauce, you've won a convert. Going to subscribe.

I normally add Fruit cocktails with Cherries in it. And Raisins. This looks amazing!!! I dont do the sauce. But im a start doing it. that sauce is amazing.
