M8000 Bug Detector (Who's spying on your bedroom hotel room changing room etc?) counter surveillance

  • From here: www.banggood.com/custlink/KvK... This helps you track down audio bugs, spy cameras of any peeping tom in your hotel room or bedroom and help prevent espionage by sweeping for cameras and transmitters before important meetings start.
    There are a lot of peeping toms out there who are spying on people, watching you get undressed, listening to you talk about private and personal things, doing who knows what while they listen to you and watch you. Yes, there's less chance of this in your own home but the chances go up drastically when you are someone who travels. Google for "Airbnb peeping tom" and you will see the shady things people do to spy on people.
    This bug detector package is incredibly effective and useful everywhere from the boardroom to the bedroom. Anywhere where countersurveillance is if importance or desired. Spy devices are everywhere and are cheaper than they have ever been. Hidden transmitters in mains adapters, alarm clocks, radios, plug sockets, pens, light bulbs, fake car central locking fobs. Tons of ways to spy on people.
    Transmitting is the safest for the spy because they can be anywhere and get their information or get their rocks off watching you in your bedroom and you would never know where they were or who they are. Cameras can transmit too but some people may spy on you by hiding a webcam. This M8000 bug detector from banggood can detect transmitters whether audio or camera and also help you find cameras that don't transmit but instead are connected directly to a PC or record locally.
    You can also use the GPS detector which uses detection of strong magnets used to attach a GPS tracker to a car, usually in the wheel well area.
    This is easily chargeable via USB and easy to take with you. You can unscrew the antenna and put it in a little bag and keep it with you to use when ever you feel the need. It doesn't matter if it's your bedroom, boardroom, locker room, changing room, public toilets or anywhere else... you can use this (or even just the little camera detector which is easy to keep with you) to feel safer from hidden cameras, then keep the rest of the detection gear it comes with in your luggage to do a full sweep of your area.

    Love your vids! This is a very interesting one! Have you thought about getting a ring light or similar for lighting your vids? It might give it more of soft hue and avoid those harsh reflections? Keep up the good work! Always love to see a notification telling me you've uploaded!

      Thanks so much for your comment. I have seen such lights but the costs are a bit prohibitive. But I may look deeper into something like that at a later date. The phone's camera light was the main culprit but it would be nice to have a soft good light source. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Seems to work nice! - i just got my K68 detector, - seem pretty similar to yours, but with the camera detector built in, and a slightly different Gps/magnet detector, but it attaches to the device with a contact, just as yours do, - i have detected some signals through the walls to my apartement, but i suspect they are my neighbours Wifi..hm..anyway, greetings from Sweden, Levi

    Good review, thanks. Ther helical antenna, can it be unscrewed? If so what socket is there underneath? Reason I ask is fitting with helical bandpass filter ahead of unit input would allow a response of certain bands of frequencies.

      Thanks. These devices, once bought, can be relied on for a very long time. I wouldn't go on holiday without one, whether it's this one or another one. SOMETHING because there are a lot of creepy people out there either running or working for guest houses and hotels etc.

      I asked the company the same question. If you don't want to spend too much money then buy the K68+ and it is a good product for the price. I ended up buying the M8000 because it is their higher model with better performance, stability and accuracy.

    Any product recommendations for counter surveillance to see/heard if someone is going through my room or my stuff?
    Would have to be placed where a person who is tech savvy might not look...
    Thanks for everything

    • @techwg
      @techwg  Před 4 lety +3

      Yes this one is very good and has some heft to it, it oozes quality and it acts like it too. Really impressive. As for counter-intelligence you could have white noise playing in the background while talking to conceal your words from recordings. As for after the fact detection, that is tricky. You need something either that cannot be found or that cannot be tampered with. So a video recorder which sends images to a server so that the person entering cannot just erase the SD card or corrupt it or something (because you can access the server's copy) would be one way.
      Another way you could buy a body camera that has movement detection and leave it in your room. Soi when someone enters, it detects but all the storage is internal and they cannot access or wipe the recordings without the password to access them. So they would have to steal or smash the device, both of which would be obvious to you that someone had been in.
      You could try low-tech solutions like putting UV powder on door handles etc and then use a UV light to see if all the powder is there and if not, check people's hands with a UV light. Or place a small light object just behind the door on the floor as the door is almost closed. So when someone elses opens the door, the item is pushed away but when you go to open the door you only open it a crack and feel around the edge and feel if the item is there. If the item is nowhere near, you know someone has opened your door.
      Do any of those ideas help you?

    At the point of me watching this video, it is three years old. I have to imagine that there is better tech out there now, if you're still into this kind of thing, what is out there now that I can buy and use to find cameras and listening devices? I travel too much, and I am always wondering who is looking at me or listening to me. It would be great to be able to find out, then call someone out on it.

    Hand lil Gadget , like you say , you never know these Day be handy to check Alexas n Echoes

    • @techwg
      @techwg  Před 4 lety +2

      Yeah. Well they are visible to the naked eye so it's not actually infrared. They are very powerful bright red lights. But this and other bug detecting devices explain them as laser, but I am not sure if that is a translation issue. Either way I would not look into those lights. But this is very very effective at detecting cameras by looking for the glint you see coming back at you.

    • @techwg
      @techwg  Před 3 lety +1

      Not specifically as far as I know. Perhaps a white noise machine turned up loud for person-person communication? Get a free phone app to make white noise, plug speakers into your phone and then have a quite conversation between yourseld and others in the room with the loud white noise all around you.

      @@techwg *Wow... Perfect.....* Also What would you suggest with the scenario of: audio jammer... hmmm what about if it is connected to a fire alarm (red and black wires) and even when the fire alarm is unhooked... the wire red and black wires which enter into the wall lead to something that continues to detect voice? In that case, what are pretty good options?

      @techwg  Před 16 dny

      There are no hard numbers. You alter the sensitivity with the dial. But you will have to be close to detect anything because else you would get detections everywhere and you wouldn't be able to narrow it down anywhere.

      I found some info. So basically, you've checked the room and everything seems fine, you set your sensitivity to where anything detected is below the threshold and not alerting. Then you press that button and it will sit there and wait and constantly alert you if it detects a signal. Here's the info I found: 1. Auto Search: If you want to check the room or car safe or not, you can put it in one room or car, then open the auto search, it will search automatically, once received one time of signal, the light bars will light one, if received 6 times, the light bars will light at 6 lights, then it will sound alarm to remind you that there is a suspicious signal.
