About to fire my rail back up, it was a huge disaster in my 95*+ garage over the summer but temps have fallen back down. Would love to keep the water temps down but every option for that is too expensive at the moment.

Just curious, any preference to using the soil instead of rock wool? Building out my own system now and it seems a lot of others on CZcams use rock wool. My thought would be it would keep the system cleaner but certified noob here. Appreciate the input!

I've had a much better germination rate with the tree bark/peat based seed plugs over rock wool.
