I used the infinite rerolls mod to stack all the damage over time effects in the game and a couple global damage boosts to kill Asterius in his cutscene.

I'm a bit disappointed there's no special dialogue for this. Hades' teams seem to have thought every possibilities - especially since I saw that video for meeting Hades without any boon trigger special dialogue.
Yeah, this one is clearly an oversight. Asterius is supposed to be completely invulnerable, like Charon is when you defeat him, but they forgot to make him invulnerable, so DoT effects can kill him. I'm just glad it doesn't cause a softlock.
@@Pr1est0fDoom i think he should stay dead for the fight with him and the other guy (theseus) and to make up for it theseus would be real pissed and be much deadlier (faster, more damage, larger attack area)

@@Pr1est0fDoomlol i only got poseidon legendary boon for more fishing spots and hermes legendary boon "Bad News" (casts do 50% more damage against enemies without bloodstones in them, perfect for crystal beam and trippy shot)

Nothing happens, Charon actually becomes invulnerable when he reaches the HP threshold. I think Asterius should become invulnerable as well, so I guess it's an oversight by the developers.
The description says it’s modded. They’re using every damage over time effect in the game plus Winter Harvest. Unless you get astronomically lucky you’ll probably never see this happen, at least unmodded.
@@404JNF I did it with mods because I'm lazy, but I think it can be done with only moderate amounts of luck using Eris Rail. Dionysus on Attack, Demeter/Poseidon on Special and Poseidon/Demeter on Dash with Razor Shoals, Killing Freeze, Ravenous Will and Winter Harvest. You probably don't need all of those with the turbocharge from Eris Rail.
