The difference between embarrassing and embarrassment is opportunity for correction. “You’re embarrassing yourself” is temporary behavior, vs “you’re an embarrassment” is a more personal label.

@@KP-sh9he From what I can gather, saying you are embarrassing yourself AND the family means we stand together as a unit and right now, you are embarrassing all of us (this is not how WE act). The other statement implies we reject your behavior and how it is reflected upon the family and you're standing alone... i.e. your behavior is making US (us over here that doesn't include you because we don't care how you look, just don't make US) look bad.

he will most likely have to go that route before he learns. Or wind up broke/struggling in the hood forreal, working a reg 9-5 to survive like the rest of us and having to pay his own way. No more allowance from mommy n daddy, living up in their mansion, larping around like youre a pink-dred-head scarface. He could never relate to us regular people who came up from nothing. He truly was born with a silver spoon. I started off homeless at 18. I was fresh out of school, running the streets actin a fool trying to become a rapper and my pops said NOT IN MY HOUSE. Thats when I grew up and stopped doing dumb stuff and got my life together. It took being homeless for 2 yrs and me to start having a relationship with God. He heard me when I was crying out for help and I started to realize I didnt want to live the life no more, I just wanted to be a stable family-man. That is more than enough to be happy in life. i dont need fame, fortune and a life of sin. Thats when my life began to change and I started to build myself up from nothing. There were still ups and downs as life is not easy. But here I am like 20 yrs later and I smh thinking about how dumb I was when I first left highschool. King actually reminds me of myself a little bit because he is brainwashed to think the hood life is cool or to be glorified like when I was young and fresh into the real world. Or youre not "real" if you dont partake in the foolishness. That is whats got all these kids acting like this. The rap music tells them they arent real if they dont follow that street code and ofcourse they idolize these rappers so they mimic everything they say and do.

Ocho more reasonable Sharpe and am shocked he picked up on what I saw too. It's clearly a cry for help, some mothers will understand what's going on here, so don't know why tiny his mom is not trying to calm the situation she seems to use her words to make fun of her son and humiliating him on camera about a pacifier which is probably why he feel he gotta prove himself. I'm betting the whole family makes fun of him a lot.Too many of you are clueless only blaming him, but i think his words come from a place of hurt, or his parents lack of affection so there is more going on here. The parents is complicit in his behavior so this is not just about being spoiled and privileged. It doesn't matter if he come from a rich life, or rich parents if they treat them like crap, then the result is gonna be what it is. If people were listening better they would hear him say he believe he was a mistake, so maybe one of his parents said that to him. I'm not making excuses for him, am just saying don't leave his parents out of the equation.

My dad died when I was 27, never met him, and I found out looking over my wife's shoulder and saw the message from my sister while on our honeymoon on a cruise ship. But I still stand on the morals and respect my mom taught me before she went home with the Lord. He needs a reality check. Enjoy your parents while their still here cuz LIFE IS TOO SHORT

My aunt still remembers that 30 years later and jokes saying “Daddy bee gon sting Valerie bee” She was always messy. 😂

My husband broke that boys spirit at 9-years old and he is now an honor roll student in gifted and talented classes. No medicine, azz whoopins & hugs. Agree wholeheartedly. As a teacher who's worked in more holistic schools, part of my job is to notice and assess our students behavioural patterns. Sometimes when we see certain things happening with a particular child, like uncontrollable rage, we look at where that might be coming from. The first things we look at are bullying in or outside of school or a difficult home situation. Most times I've seen, these kids don't have a healthy outlet and good mentors so they act out in whichever way they can.
If King was a student in my classroom, I'd be having a Tuesday morning meeting with my department co-ordinator to discuss interventions.

You have to have boundaries and put words into action when you discipline your kids. Also, the government putting too many policies to protect children, not to say they shouldn't be any but that's why these kids act unruly and damn rude they know they'll get away with things.
King is disrespectful regardless of what he may be going through you still don't act that way if he continues his gonna meet the right one that will knock him the F out! It hasn't happened because of the same guy he called a N***er being disrespectful to is reason why no one has knocked him out, out of respect for T.I so his damn lucky but that won’t last if he continues so let him stay there thinking his gonna get a pass people don’t care about who your parents are. There is a difference in some children who were raised in a touched life and were raised in a privileged life. No matter what they experience will never give you the right to be disrespectful.. The children have more power parents. They don't fear consequences. Because that time out mess does not work. Now kids are beating and killing their parents because they can't get their way.

One day he is either going to try the wrong person or someone is going to step to him to prove a point. There are fighters and shooters that will mark him because of all of the mouthing off or just for kicks. This show is epic. Two black men discussing life and general topics. I am so glad to see this. Being sports figures one would not think they are so intellectual in conversation. I am just pleased to see them out here. So many do shows and talk nonsense and clown.....Men do things differently.

im so sorry that you have to deal with that, you’re so strong . its gonna be an uncomfortable convo for you but you NEED to explain to your som.. its not good to sugercoat things with them it only leads to disappointment and hurt/trauma later. but also make sure you up lift and motivate him !! that way he can grow up a strong independent man without any “daddy issues” and it will also make things easier for you over time.. 6 is a good age, its always best to explain instead of have their little minds be confused and distressed bc kids are a lot smarter than we realize,, good luck mom❤️

@@kam_12_ well, when he asks about him or where he is, I honestly don’t know his address, so I just tell him that he does have a dad, he just doesn’t live with us. He’s talked to him before and seen him once when he was like 2/3 years old I believe. I don’t sugarcoat, but, I also try to guard his little feelings as well.

@@lovelylora1700 we’re in the same state, maybe about 2-3 hours away, but, I keep hearing the “I don’t have a car, I work 22 hours a day, blah blah blah”. I’ve offered numerous times to meet up with him, pick him up, etc, to no avail. The guy won’t even make a phone call to his kid. 🤷🏾‍♀️. Like I’ve said, I’ve done all I can do over these 6 years. He even told me when I said “I’m handing him to you on a platter, I just want you to have a relationship with him” and he told me, “ exactly, I have to WANT it”. SMH. 🤦🏾‍♀️. Basically, he doesn’t want the relationship with him, so, I had to stop trying.

When I hear our stories it makes me so sad. What we have experienced and had to deal with is seriously childhood abandonment and trauma. And we have learned how to talk about it so we can move on but seriously we deserved more.

@@alovesupremethey have 7 children and the other 6 are just fine, they’re respectable and well mannered. King is the only one always flailing around and whining. That’s because he’s his maternal grandma’s first grandson so he was spoiled by her. It’s not the parents’ fault for allowing him to have a tight knit relationship with his grandmother, it’s his fault for constantly wanting to exploit the fact that his grandma gave him more leniency than his parents.

My mother passed when I was only 14. My father wasn’t around as much as he should have been. I was raised by my coaches and the disciplines I learned in the Military. It wasn’t until about 3 years ago I start understanding what my mother taught me in a very short time. Nowadays I live my life according to her memory. I have now lived more than half my life without my Mom, and to this day I carry myself with respect and pride! What made me different? I still ask myself that question
