Which of the five beach towns would you move to? Let us know down below!
All of them
you forgot "night life" as a criteria. Its as important for many as any beautiful beach has to offer.
Mararisan island
@@attequechughtai6216 Iceland Lol
Whilst there was some beautiful coverage, predominantly from a tourist perspective. It would have been great to see/learn more about the infrastructure and living facilities for new permanent residents.
Nice presentation, thank you Isabella. Keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot. This was a list that was mostly unknown to me, and you were very thorough in your descriptions of each. Gives me a lot to consider. Thanks again.
Great video, full of info and presented in such a professional manner. Really enjoyed this, lots of beautiful places to see. Thanks for the video. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Thanks for your recommendation!
Nice video! Thank you 🙏
All top five beach towns are also in the top tourist beach spots. I learned and experienced other beach towns not saturated with tourism. But everyone is difference and seek difference adventures...
Loved the video, wow so many beautiful place to visit.
Great video 👍
Great presentation! I have been to 3 of the 5 and many others you didn't mention. Puerto Galera/ Sabang on Mindoro- would have made a great addition. your information was SUPERB.
Nice , excellent video👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
So many beautiful islands. Thank you.❤️
I like a beach town too but with hardly any expat or tourist.
wow. new places to explore. great video.
I agree, informative, concise, no exaggeration!
Very beautiful places to go to and experience. Thank you.
Every location really appealed to me. I will be moving to the Philippines soon, and can't wait to dive many of those islands!
Excellent video, thank you Isabella! As a certified Recreational SCUBA Diver this info was very helpful. I’m recently retired and looking forward to my first trip to the Philippines this September in search of a great diving retirement destination. Thanks again!
Beautiful video. I have a good filipina friend from Palawan and Cebu but now you have brought their places so near to me really thanks a lot.Hope you will do more.
Oh ! Thank you for your like.
Please tell me are you from Cebu my fb sister stays there, and Palawan a nice teacher friend stays there.
excellent presentation
They seem better to visit than to live longer term... But all are beautiful....
Hi Isabella. You did a really great job on this. Very well written and presented. Keep up the good work. I think I would choose Mala...? Sorry, I didn't memorize the name. I just like less crowded places.
I have family in Palawan, can't wait to visit!
Wow, outstanding video! I've never been to the Philippines yet, but that will be changing this year. I have learned a lot about City Life in the Philippines via CZcams, so now it's great to learn more about beach life through this video. Thank you so much for this video, I would have never known about these places, or if I did it would have taken me a long time to learn about them. Lol. I hear a lot about Boracay, is that not a beach town? I would like you to feature Boracay in a video, please.
Ayy I'm heading to the Philippines this year too! I've already booked lodging for the first month, who knows how long I'll stay. If i can spend my life visiting places like this, I may never leave.
I love Palawan Island Coron this is very out standing never been in Philipine yet but plan for this year thanks
I really enjoy and get great value out your videos thank you. I also really appreciate you not talking about Christianity as your colleague does. Fantastic content and genuinely helpful🙏🏻
Island vibes ❤❤❤ Sana all 🤙
All 5 of these beach towns are great as a tourist but I wouldn't say they are a place to live by any means.
Thanks for this great inf, do you know any 2 bed for rent?
Coron is easier and cheaper to get to if you go by air. Most domestic airlines fly there unlike El Nido which is served by a single private airline whuch is more pricey.
Bohol and Camiguin should be at the TOP on this list
you may upgrade you info, lots of places in siargao are damage or gone altogether from the storm
Expert Advice From A Darling Young Woman ❤
Coron here I come!
The cons on some of these spots is the accessibility.
I'm trying to move to Baler or somewhere along the coast just north from there. Seems so much more chill and not so "touristy." So much potential for surf!
Id pick cities on the West side of the country. Typhoons hit the East of the country 1st, bearing the brunt of the strength of these ever stronger storms. For example Siargao was recently levelled because it was the 1st landfall of the biggest storm of 2021 in the world.
If you pick San Juan, La Union vs Baler for example, you'd have the Sierra Madre mountain range of Luzon to dillute the strength of any storm so by the time it gets to La Union, it's way less destructive.
Food for thought.
@@DensDaPens I hear you on that, but there’s no surf on the west side. Maybe rare waves. I think everywhere in the world faces some kind of natural disasters, but life is short and there are amazing waves to be discovered. We get some pretty wild earthquakes here in California, but been here all my life lol.
I got the chance to surf in Baler for a week and at another “secret spot” just north of there and I was blown away that there was no one else out. Maybe not world class like Cloud 9, but I prefer less or no crowds at all.
I do have family in Rizal, so I can just head there whenever typhoons come around. Looking forward to when I can call PI home!
Cloud 9 surfing structure does not exist anymore due to the recent typhoon but is being rebuilt. Hopefully soon.
101 F in Chicago today, Evan.
You left out la Union 👌👍
You missed San Juan, La Union, Boracay, Samal Island near Davao City
Would be helpful for a "to live" video that you provide more information than luxury resorts and hotels and tourist spots, like the availability of condos, housing market, education, hospitals, shopping, cafes/bars/restaurants, infrastructure, roads, traffic, internet accessibility, and the actual information you need to "live"
nice thanks
I wanna buy a condo in Philippines what beach town do you recommend for tourism
The Philippines is hot, you can only swim in the morning or evening.
It's only a dream to think you can spend your day at the beach....
Amazing 🤩
Coron town is NOT Coron island. You can't move to Coron island because it is ancestral domain to the Tagbanua.
A place to move into by expats means where it matters the most to them as a resident not as a tourist you're looking at it in a different point of view, think what they need, what they should have to live in for example things that should be near hospitals, clinic, amenities, accommodations, electricity power water, not too many brown out power loss, ac or as Filipinos say aircon, places cheaper prices to rent, condos, apartment, house for rent, then access to restaurants, shops, groceries, type of food milk cheese, and vegetables salads so on, ease of public transportations, security, safe environment crime rate. These are the things we are concerned about numbers, internet access for remote work, nightlife, beach life, will be the icing of the cake means the later bonus part. Philippine Government needs to standardize prices first from transportation every town city should have a public billboard showing prices of transportation ranging from pedicab to trycicle, jeep and bus train, and plane, and boats ferry or fishing boats to make it easier for tourists and expat alike.
Where's Evan? I hope he's okay or don't say ewan... LoL!!
sounded like official Philippine tourism promotion video 😅...not really an expat/ long term place to live video.
Coron is not a beach town... Unless you have a boat to visit the beaches with.
What's the best island for digital nomads needing fast WiFi?
There’s no fast wifi in the remote islands even the classy resorts. Wait till Starlink is fully established in the Philippines. For CZcamsrs uploading takes longer and you have to be patient.
you're house
@@Joepoe20041 I'm not necessarily looking for remote islands. Just islands or beaches in general.
Cebu would be your best bet.
It has above average WiFi speeds, as compared with the national average.
Moreover, Cebu is a relatively large island where cities are approximately less than an hour to two hours away from the best beaches. (add to that a multitude of waterfalls, historical sites, mountainside cafes and gardens, high-end malls, etc.)
Boracay island , Panglao island, Mactan Island ,Samal island
These are best beach places to visit. Not best places to live
Wrong title. Best places to Visit & not to live.
I don't think she understands the difference between going somewhere for tourism and living there.
NOT what I expected. I expected a video talking about the 5 cities, not a run down of tourist spots. ClickBait
10:06 seriously these island people and the entire nation embraced the invaded enemies forced religion? insanity 😮
Siargao Island is a waste of time and a waste of money if you aren't going to surf there. There aren't any nice beaches at Siargao Island. I was just there and I hated Siargao Island. I don't surf.
Not really a waste of time/explore the world/find the best of the best for your self */different angle different view
@@rosanaarcelo6740
I didn't actually hate Siargao Island. A more accurate description would be to say that Siargao Island isn't worth one's money 💵 unless one is going to surf there. If you don't participate in surfing Siargao Island isn't a good value. Alona Beach, Boracay, or Palawan would serve one better as far as value for your time and money.
miss bulol
You are poor because you can't visit two of the top 5 best beaches in the Philippines Boracay and Panglao Bohol beaches😂😅
