    This is a good mix. I make one similar and it lasts for a long time. I use 1 small scoop for small load 2 for med. 3 for large and youd be surprised how soapy the load of laundry gets with one scoop. I have an old washer and I checked the water myself after the load has started. Try one scoop 2 med.,3 large and see if it lasts you longer. Good luck and my other tip is I wash in warm water only. It keeps anything from getting dingy and keeps machine clean from any build up from so much soap.

    I make my laundry soap for the last 4 years.
    2018 I did one batch and it lasted me until beginning of 2020.
    Made then a new batch and I am still on it.
    I live in Canada so I use the Sunlight Soap. I use no fabric softener or dryer sheets.
    For dryer I use wool dryer balls.
    Works great for me

  • @MYEEZYBABY
    @MYEEZYBABY Před 2 lety +2

    The whole point should be that you shouldn't have to buy a brand detergent. The one I did I use the Downy in wash beads to give it a scent. Otherwise just use gain

    • @ourmess6016
      @ourmess6016  Před 2 lety +5

      I understand what you're saying. But it also allows you to have more detergent for less. With the gain scent. You don't have to add gain by no means. Especially if the scent doesn't matter to you. There's all kinds of recipes out there.
