I personally don’t understand the whole appeal of being furries, but as long as they aren’t hurting or bothering anyone, I really don’t see the problem. That’s just me, though. Still, witnessing someone in a professional setting learn about something… irregular, and learning as part of their actual job is one of the best things ever.

I went to a CBAT (essentially an inpatient psych program usually run in a house, where the patients stay there) as a teen, and one of the other kids I was with there was a teen boy furry who was constantly drawing and showing us very buff, shirtless animal-human hybrids.
He was a sweet dude, but it was an interesting environment to be sequestered in no less… I hope he’s doing good now.

On Twitter there were almost R rated furry artists and I used to read their comics they shared whenever I needed a laugh (it was all just so silly). the sincere, admiring comments from people who were in too deep, were especially hilarious.

It's focused on anthropomorphic animal characters, think Zootopia or The Bad Guys. Furries will create original characters, make art and costumes, and sometimes gather at conventions, which can have thousands of attendees. I'm not sure exactly why they're cracking up so much, maybe because furries are seen as nerdy and weird. I believe the story is about chlorine gas that was released intentionally at a convention. I don't believe they ever found who did it.

My favorite news blooper happened decades ago at the Grand Rapids Michigan NBC affiliate.
It was winter and they’d predicted under a foot of snow the night before. After almost no snow fell the female news anchor who was as good as they come and had seen quite a bit came in.
