I'm excited to see the flower shaped one since that's what I thought you were doing with this one but I was also blown away with how this one looked once you made it circular! Really amazing work. I had to do a woodworking project when I was in college and, even with a full shop of tools and a teacher there to help me, I struggled a LOT. I could figure out how to do the calculations for how everything SHOULD go together but making it actually work out precisely enough to function properly and look good is a lot harder than you make it look here. 😅 I'm sure it took a lot of hard work to become this skilled. Great job!

I like the idea of a petal/flower style table, but I'd make it from smaller biscuits as the scale would be restrictive for a sale, where a smaller coffee/bistro table would work really well and I can see it being bought for peoples homes.
Really liking that you can do this work with a minimum amount of tools in a small space. It gives budding craftsmen hope.

Before you cut it into a round shape it looked like a flower. I think that would have been awesome, although making a mold in that shape would be ridiculously hard. I love your work, your sense of humor, and the way you film your work. I don't love the music in the background, it's a distraction. Your skill is so awesome! You can see what it could become before you make it. That takes a special artistic skill to do this! I really liked the music you picked to play-very soothing. Depending on the legs you pick will give it an entirely different look! Thank you for sharing your talent…

I was mesmerized watching all the hard work you put into it. I really like the round even shape that you have, flower is cute, but the perfect roundness is what I like. You are extremely talented and it's fun watching you work😁

  • @muffin.breath

i LOVE the organic radial design inherent of the round slices in the table as is!
a flower shaped table of that size would be tacky & impractical, for any functional purposes, imo.
perhaps a small flower-like table with pronounced petals might be cute as, e.g., a mini bistro table, or one intended as a decorative end table.
    beautiful work!

Agree. I think the desire for the flower table is caused in large part by the primacy effect. Yet it is so interesting to me to know this is what our guy had in mind to begin with!

It became a gem of a table, wood is such a wonderful material, and knowing that otherwise the wood would have been throwen away, did you show the final result of the table to the neighbor ?

Yes, please make a second table. This one is so wonderfully beautiful!!!
Maybe make the center a "Lazy Susan". How about a table like this one with a "Lazy Susan" in the center, but make the "Lazy Susan" removable. 🤔 Just a thought or maybe a challenge? 🤣🤣🤣

Looks good. I can understand cutting it down so that it is a circle, but it would have also looked good before cutting the edges. It had a cool shape like a flower.
