Fantastic work and a gorgeous result. As a coffee table, given the grain running vertically, I would be concerned about chips or even chunks being knocked off. Perhaps reinforce with a plywood base?

I prefer narrative. My eyes are bad and don’t focus well (bad astigmatism). Having to look down and struggle to read the text quickly enough before it disappears means I miss the visual content. I have to rewind often to read the content and see what I missed. I know I’m not the norm, but I’m sure there are others out there like me. I also feel speaking makes you more real and relatable. Otherwise you could be replaced by AI 😮. Are you AI 🤔 hmmm.

Now add in the cost of your tools.
