Thanks for your reaction and beautiful analysis of the song's meaning. I am a 72-year-old man, and this song resonates more deeply with me than any other Pink Floyd song. Stay safe.
🎼David Gilmour is one fine writer and musician. Richard Wright was fabulous on the keyboards, may he rest in peace. Nick Mason is a fine percussionist. Pink Floyd will touch you so deep that your emotions can be overwhelmed and you will either tear-up or get goosebumps chills.
No band like Pink Floyd, but you know that already! Dave Gilmour doesn't get enough credit for his vocals, in addition to his inspiring guitar phrasing, his voice is incredible!
And soon, in early September, David Gilmour will be releasing a new album! Although it will not be a Pink Floyd album anymore, it will still have a sound and reflection of the Pink Floyd heritage. Can't wait to hear it!
This is a very special track for Floyd fans , its the last song on their last studio album , its a look back to their beginnings in the University city of Cambridge hence to reference to magnets and miracles and the river Cam , to finding fame and fortune . Its always emotional for me listening to this track
WOW is right Sarah! Universal themes and melancholy melodies to match are a specialty within The Floyd catalog. David has announced Tour dates in the U.S. and elsewhere in support of his forthcoming solo album. Hope you get the chance to see him.
You make a good point, been playing the guitar for the last 4 years, I have another guitar friend who keeps going on about how anyone can Play Pink Floyd songs if your have the fancy equipment , I told him I'm in the process of learning a couple of Pink Floyd songs and that he's talking rubbish. Hes been playing for 30 years and cant play one note of a Pink Floyd song
I loved your reaction! Insightful, yet poignant. I'm glad to have shared this reaction. Might I suggest a tune called "Take it Back", from the same disc. In fact, it's one of my favorite. Peace and joy. 😎🇺🇸
Nice to see you back doing some Pink Floyd, Sarah. When you get some time, you should react to more songs from this great Pulse concert. Any song will do----they're all fantastic. But some have that extra glow: Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Keep Talking, Sorrow, and Run Like Hell. Keep up the good work. All the best.
Thank you Sarah. I was moved by your reaction. This is one of my favourite songs by Pink Floyd and it almost always brings tears to my eyes. I am an old man now and remembering back to those wonderful days of youth and vitality make me happy and sad at the same time. Their music is special and very unique. Another song by them with great emotion is “On the Turning Away “, from1989 I think, the life version is amazing. Cheers from Canada❤️🙏🎸🎶🇨🇦
It's okay to have these emotions. Pink Floyd can draw them out with ease for anyone with a good soul. Maybe even us with tainted ones. I have to hear them and Zep everyday.
Oooooooh my Dear! Thank you suuu much for your speech, for your keynote, as a summary what you've experienced, that how it is, I feel the same, love you my lady, thank you so much!
I just respeonded to your reaction to the Eagle's "Hotel California" (please look there). It simply is a joy to watch and hear your reactions to this excellent music. It's a delight. Love & Peace🙂🙃
Frau Denglar, it’s Glen again tirelessly requesting you please do a reaction video to the 1968 song “Crystal Blue Persuasion” by Tommy James & The Shondells. I think you’ll really enjoy it! -Glen
Two other versions worthy of a listen: From "Live at Pompeii 2016" David adds a much longer acoustic guitar solo to the end of the song. czcams.com/video/xPkTq-_C-3c/video.html From "Live at Robert Wyatt's Meltdown" David replaces the electric bass guitar with a stand up bass and adds a cello to compliment his guitar. czcams.com/video/lgE-FNhHy54/video.html
There's a rumor is that if you play Pink Floyd's Dark side of the Moon as you're watching the original wizard of Oz, they will sync up so that the song you're listening to will fit in with what's going on in the movie. And if you look up on CZcams the Dark side of Oz, it will be with someone actually did that, so you can judge it for yourself.

Very talented and very unique. I can remember so long ago buying Dark Side of the Moon on vinyl when it was released. How time flies.
David Gilmour is the greatest slow hand guitarist. Never in a hurry, always a comforting pace with grand majestic sounds. ✨️🎶✨️
Exactly. The king of the bend. Never wasting a note. But invoking grand emotions. Top 3 goat. God level musician!!!!!
A beautiful song reflecting on the slow transition from youth & idealism to adulthood and acceptance of the dreams that will never come to fruition.
Pink Floyd was the ultimate masters in song writing. Gilmour's guitar playing can't be overstated.
And soon, in early September, David Gilmour will be releasing a new album!

Can't wait to hear it!
Pink Floyd Army misses you too, Sarah. A wonderful reaction by a beautiful woman.
The lyrics are actually from Gilmour‘s wife. Pink Floyd: „Forever and ever!“
Best band of all times . 😎👍🎶🎶
Agree, no other band gives the same feeling
I most certainly adore you Sarah.
I’ve been watching you since your first Floyd reaction. You just never disappoint.❤❤❤❤
That lap steel is so freaking hauntingly beautiful...David is a master!
Beautiful reaction. You were absolutely perfect in your interpretation.
More Pink Floyd please. ❤

Beautiful reaction! 🌹
Confortably Numb, Time and High Hopes are the 3 Pink Floyd songs that are most emotional me...
So many guitarists and other musicians who claim Pink Floyd is simple music and easy to play........but when asked to play it, they can't.

@lovejetfuel4071
I'm sure he can play the notes, but has no idea how to make it cry and bleed with control. lol

The magic of Pink Floyd is the music.
In this day and age, when most wear masks.., it is a privilege to see a soul, thank you. Boyan Slovenia
