You need to check out the entire Movie, Pink Floyd's "The Wall" to get the entire concept of the story.
In 2019 I went to watch the Laser Show at Harrah's Lake Tahoe Showroom and they didn't play this. We were so bummed. 😭

The Floyd filmed the show with the intention of a DVD-release. Problem was, the setting was very dark due to lots of animation on the wall and (as usual) incredible lightning effects. So the cameras couldn't handle it..
Are you sure about that? This was filmed in the 70s. DVDs didn't come out till the mid late 80s. It was filmed with decent equipment, just back then there wasn't much you could do about filming in certain lighting.
It was filmed but I’m not sure how they were planning on releasing it. No DVDs, maybe VHS although most people didn’t have VHS players yet. Maybe it was for a theater release? I know they’ve tinkered with the footage over the years and it does look clearer than earlier versions I’ve seen.
I absolutely love this version of Mother. The keyboards are outstanding...excellent choice to have piano, not just organ. The rest of em were pretty good too ;)

Roger Waters voice is amazing, love to see 70s Pink Floyd concerts
I have to say that I am not a fan of his voice, but that’s just a personal thing. I much prefer David’s voice, which is like caramel to my ears.
