The only thing better than Pink Floyd is Pink Floyd live. đ€đœđ
Thank you for not interrupting the experience! This song is meant to kick back and lose yourself in that guitar.
You don't just listen to Pink Floyd , you experience them
I was fortunate to be in the crowd for this performance. It was the most mind blowing thing I ever saw.
Question I heard from another person there that they had things on the ceiling playing as well is this true
I canât explain in words how much Iâve always loved this song. Itâs a feeling that evolves as the decades go by. Pink Floyd is a whole rabbit hole experience. Thank you for opening your mind to them. đâđ»
Rock on!
As a "laid back smoker guy" you are going to LOVE Floyd. These guys will change you. Thanks for the reaction.
Absolutely đŻ and thanks for checking it out đđŒ
Roll another one.
@@davehagi9883 sure thing đš
@@PradaWest Can't wait till you do The Dark Side Of The Moon, especially the track, 'Time'. Keep on puffing, all the best from the far north of New Zealand.
Subbed.
I was there the night that was recorded. Also seen them 6 weeks before that in Rotterdam. Gigs that will be with me till my dying day. I was 23 years old back then, now 53 and still love the Floyd.
ANYTHING from Pulse is amazing!
agree, this concert was not for this planet, and way way way ahead of its time. this sort of stuff is something you do not even see now a days!!!
Every song they do during this Pulse concert is at least equivalent to almost any other band's Grand finale!! Try High Hopes or sorrow or run like hell! You'll get the same jaw-dropping experience with different sounding songs. Another one that's people's favorite is the song "wish you were here" from the same concert!
I've been a die hard Queenie since 1975 - but I was a huge fan of Pink Floyd before Freddie came into my life. I played their 1973 album Dark Side of The Moon pretty much continuously. What great music we had when I was a teenager. We were very very blessed.
When it comes to the PULSE concert every song's a banger, can't go wrong.
Dark side of the moon ⊠letâs Go!! Entire album listen !! âïžâïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
Couldn't agree more! đ I think if he listens to DSOTM he will definitely become a Floyd fan and yes it has to be the WHOLE album no point otherwise imo.
DSOTM is on the second half of the Pulse concert. The backup singers changed from wearing white to black.
So glad you got around to reacting to this. And you respected the guitar solos, legend. The entire show is amazing. It's like the Queen rabbit hole, just pick a song and dive in.
Shine on you crazy Diamond or One of these Days I recommend next
Well done for responding so fast to suggestion. Every number they performed at Pulse 1994 was spectacular. A few tracks start of with teasers, they do not rush to get into the songs, part of the magic. David Gilmore, Nick Mason and Roger Waters are all individually touring this year. Maybe try "Wish you were here" next?
Floyd are as visual as they are audible......been going to their concerts from 1969 and EVERY one was phenomonalâ€â€â€â€
I never get tired of watching/hearing this. The whole concert...wow.
Welcome to the machine.
It's a lifelong journey that you will never forget â€
great reaction, the whole pulse concert is amazing, id recommend that you try "HIGH HOPES" or "TIME" from
the same pulse concert, im sure you will enjoy both aswell as many others
Hi Prada, thanks for this! Since you are self-described," laid back smoker dude," you will fit in well with PF fans. Not that smoke is required, but I still smile at remembering putting on DSOTM or The Wall, which is the album Comfortably Numb is on, and have my thoughts pulled in so many attractive ways. Maybe find a friend and go through one of the albums together for a reaction. You might Google the album for context - it would help, because some are "concept albums" and so the songs are part of a bigger theme and they relate to each other. Comfortably Numb is a perfect example. You wouldn't know this song is about the life of a rock star and is semi-autobiographical. The Wall is a metaphor of his desire to protect himself from the pain of life, but it also prevents his growth.
Anything from the pulse concert is awesome . My favorite since I was 13 ( Iâm 65 now) is Dark Side Of The Moon, the entire album from start to finish. You say your chill? This is right up your alley! Welcome to the machineâđ»â€ïž!!
One of the greatest bands ever I've seen them
So glad to see you on the PF journey!Animals is another amazing album i reckon you will really enjoy đ
Saw Pulse in El Paso. It was my wife's 1st concert lol! We skipped college and drove down from Roswell, New Mexico (got out of it by giving a couple proffs a shirt)!
I have never seen them in concert, Pink Floyd, but Iâve always listened to their songs and another song. Thereâs another brick in the wall. I definitely suggest that one.â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€
If you live in the United States or Canada, you could go see the tribute band (Australian Pink Floyd).
They give an excellent show both musically and visually, not as elaborate as the original band, but still very interesting.
You still got time to see David Gilmour live (but hurry)
I did get to see this band live in Los Angeles, they were outstanding. It was a nighttime show in an outdoor venue (I think it was Dodger Stadium). It was sensory overload to say the least. I was so immersed in the music, I forgot where I was for a time. The person I was with thought I had passed out and shook me to bring me back to reality. Damn him!!!! You should check out the Aid for Armenia song Smoke On The Water. David Gilmore, Brian May, Tony Iommi and a few other great guitar players are together on that song also Roger Taylor on Drums and I think maybe Ozzy Osborne along with some awesome others making up the super group.
Welcome, brother! You're among friends.
This concert has become kind of legendary, and for good reason. If you explore the PULSE rabbit hole, you'll find every song that night was incredible, not only from an audio standpoint, but also visually. I had the pleasure of seeing this tour, and it was just magical.
For a better idea of what it was like actually being at the concert and watching the light show, take a look at "One Of These Days". And of course there are the hits ~ "Wish You Were Here", "Time", "Money", "Another Brick In The Wall (Part II)", "Hey You", and many others. As I say, you can pick any song from that night and it will be wonderful.
Oh - at some lucky concerts, they performed the entire "Dark Side Of The Moon" album. So there are PULSE versions of that, too.
Like Spacey shine on your you crazy diamond from the same concert get your blunt ready and float through spaceđ
Pink Floyd can take you places with their musicâŠâŠdefinitely let them do it. đ
You really need to watch Echoes live in Pompeii 1970ish,. Their original great song. to get you back to the roots of what was a new era for Pink Floyd sound-wise
Pink Floyd is Out of this world and definitely out of this universe while trippin on shrooms đ
Your intro says it all bruh, especially with Floydđppp 13:21 a blunt and some headphones lol. I saw them in 77' lol The ANIMALS tour đđ€Enjoy your Journey
The entire 'Pulse' concert is amazing. Not one weak track was performed. Pink Floyd was famous for live performance as an immersive experience. I was lucky to see them perform twice. This tour, the staging and lighting cost 25 million--in 1994 dollars. This tour included the 'Pulse' show that is available on YT, but it also included the entirety of 'Dark Side of the Moon' which was a primary reason the band wanted to go on tour as a nod to their history. They were at their apex of skills. This live performance captured on film is considered one of the best live shows--full stop. I hope you take the time--either for the channel or just as a musician--to explore their catalog.
Now THAT is a f*cking concert!
Thanks for doing this.
Thank you for not pausing... keep doing what you doing
The other night, we saw Nick Mason and Guy Pratt live in Concert With Nicks new band. About as close as you will ever get to seeing Pink Floyd Live. The experience was out of this world, to be in the same building as an original Pink Floyd co founder is a privilege
Enjoy
The Pink Floyd rabbit hole runs deep my Friend, Please do this entire concert in reaction segments to start your journey down the rabbit hole, I'm sure you are going to be most greatful for continuing this journey you started, Loving the reactions and looking forward to more, Whenever you are having one of those days like we all do from time to time, may I suggest that you get comfortable at home, turn your phone "OFF", smoke a blunt, turn down the lights, put a pair of headphones on, then start a Pink Floyd album, lay back and listen to it nonstop from start to finish, as All their albums are meant to be experienced, it will harmonise your Heart, Spirit and Soul my Friend, I also hope that you will bring Pink Floyd into the lives of those you care about and are close to you, I'm sure they will be greatful you guided them to the Pink Floyd experience, God Bless.
The entire pulse concert is off the charts, just pick any song. Some of the best assembled talent on stage and behind. Guitars grow up and wish that David Gilmour would play em. You would enjoy SORROW live pulse, it will leave you speechless.
Listin to it for years along way lots of others fpr and your own stuff đ
Shine on you crazy diamond đ
For sure
I grew up on Pink Floyd
Iâm old but they are never old to my ears â€
Great song amazing album. Keep them coming PW.
That was a cool reaction. Thank you for not stopping it, that was classy.
Pink Floyd are just awesome. Do your ears and soul a favor and react ASAP to "The Great Gig in the Sky" from the same 1994 Pulse concert.
You can thank me later :)
Now watch SORROW from the same concert...Huge guitar intro and outro!
I saw this Tour in '94 (Division Bell) when it was released Live from that tour is PULSE, saw it at the Hoosier Dome at Indianapolis, Indiana June 14th, 1994. 3 had 3 Stages they toured with (3 days to set up, 2 days to take down) so unless they wanted to play 1 show a week...).
I was lucky enough to see them live in Toronto in 88 and I was completely mesmerized (the magic Mushrooms helped đ) But it was one of the best experiences I've ever witnessed. The light show and props were like none other. Great Gig in the sky is a must experience of life†Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out âïž âźïž
I have yet to get through Great Gig in the Sky from Pulse without crying, no matter how many times I watch/listen to it. It's so beautiful. đđđ
@@angelagraves865 Me too even the studio version gets me every time â€ïž
Pink Floyd đđ»đđ»đđ»đŹđ§
"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" next, for a trip through the galaxy...
If you want to go down the rabbit hole, the song Time is what will really make think of you as a person and what you have done so far
Awesome song! Great stoner tune â€â€
Yeah!! đđ»đđ»đ€đ»đ€đ»đž Thank you!! Iâm so glad you enjoyed it. Dude I meditate to PF lol. If you like to bake and chill, this is your band my friend! You have the most amazing journey ahead of youâŠcanât wait to sit back and watch it. PF fans will flood your page too. đ
well, we can see that it relaxed you, thats a good thing, music theropy
Check out Run Like Hell from the same concert, you'll see why it's the finale. Also check out Sorrow, and Great Gig In The Sky, and High Hopes.
Best Guitar Solo ever...
It's been awhile I've heard this song it's a good one â€â€â€â€â€đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
THE best guitar solo ever.
I don't know why I'm watching that but I like it
đđŒ
Brilliant! (and PF were OK too! đ)
As an "older" PF fan I would recommend :-
For another "live" check out PART 1 only
"Echoes (Part 1)" live at Pompeii 1972
No Audience, No Lights, No Pyrotechnics just Gods playing to the Gods
(you'll understand about pt1 vs pt2 later so take it on faith for now)
For an album....
"The Dark Side of the Moon" BUT
heads up, Tracks transition directly into each other so best done as Side 1 / Side 2
But if you want to do tracks:-
1. "Speak to me" + "Breathe (in the air) + " On the Run"
2. "Time"
3. "The Great Gig in the Sky"
4. âMoney"
5. "Us and Them" + "Any Colour You Like"
6. "Brain Damage" + "Eclipse"
The album starts and ends with a heartbeat, and is basically a Bible for modern life.
"Speak to me" samples the entire album
"Breathe" the follies of life in the fast lane without stopping to live in the moment.
"On the Run" instrumental fear of flying and stress of international travel.
"Time" the WAKE UP DUMMY every teenager and old person should hear.
"The Great Gig in the Sky" guest vocals Clare Torry possibly the deepest dive into the emotions surrounding Death you will ever hear! brace yourself đ
"Money" a sarcastic look at the ridiculous nature of extreme wealth.
"Us and Them" the fallacy of the binary choice, and the most chilled anti war song ever recorded.
"Any Colour You Like" instrumental look at that false choice concept.
"Brain Damage" another way everything can be taken from you, referencing former band member Syd Barretts struggle with failing mental health. The light and the Dark within.
Eclipse everything you knew, know or will ever know falls into the shadow of darkness and will be lost, so live right now and make life wonderful
The final spoken words
"there is no dark side of the Moon really matter of fact its all dark"
but
the original recorded voice went on to say "the only thing that makes it light is the sun"
and it's fun to know this brightness was hidden from us on the original albumđ
Love the guitar đž
You need to watch Run Like Hell from the same concert. Blew my mind when I was at that concert in 94.
I watched a laser show to Pink Floyd. đ
Great Reaction! Need to watch Sorrow from pulse concert better than that or just as good. Also Time, Us And Them, Money, Keep Talking all from pulse concert
Fully recommend from the same concert Run Like Hell, and Sorrow the restored versions / youâll love them. Best live concert
†Pink Floyd has always been great his eyes with out face song is awesome as all his music
Billy Idol?
Iâve heard this before good song â€â€â€â€â€â€
Nice sir. As much as I'm a PF freak, a couple of other classic guitar solos back in the great days of 70's and 80's are The Eagles - Hotel California - 1977, and Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing - 1983 Alchemy. Would love to see you react to those. Cheers.
Next band you do...Boston. first album. First track is their biggest but not my favorite. Start with Peace of Mind. Then, entire album is 100% awesome.
Nice!! Gave you a sub
More Pink Floyd would be awesome â€
For an oldie from PF, listen to Atom Heart Mother Suite! Many movements in it....
Possibly the greatest live solo ever. Gilmourâs solos just hit different from any guitarist Iâve ever heard.
Awesome stoner tune! â€
Epic guitar solo đđđđ§đ·đ§đ·
Crazy in a good way, right? Sadly, this was their last performance as Pink Floyd. They were formed in 1965.
And the song ate into my brain. Try some Harry Nilsson "Jump into the fire" Killer base line... I just subscribed.
So see if you could the remastered and re-edited they cleaned up the picture dramatically, and it has different camera angles
Check out On The Turning Away live. David's best solo in my opinion.
Check out Shine on you crazy diamond
React to, Shine on you crazy diamond, by Pink Floyd.
Scusa ,ma...erano due sbadigli quelli?
No no ragazzo mio, non ci siamo, com'Ăš possibile sbadigliare davanti a questa meraviglia?
Voglio pensare che fossi stanco, non annoiato đ€
I got to see them one time, my problem was that I pounded to many drinks prior to heading to the venue. To polish my shitty story we smoked way too many spliffs, and followed all that noise with more beers inside. I knew it was all too much when I was trying to manage to delivers a flat of 4 large beers to part of our group and I ended up dumping them on top of two couples sitting either in front or behind us. I was spinning so much I went out to where we parked and listened to rest from outside away from anyone I could accidentally ruin their nights as well. If those two couples ever read this, I am sooo sorry for what I did. I shouldnât have been out in public in that shape and I didnât even say sorry because of how shitty I felt inside and for what I had done.
No problem, everyone understood.....Floyd fans are cool,
PF yes, it's why I came. You? With the Ink? Just no dude. Think of how much weed you could have bought with what those tats must have cost?
đđŒ
Please reaction Queen - in the lap of the God ( Live at the rainbow 1974)đđ đ„șđ„°
This is the shorter video of this song.
Great to see them getting you as they did to me when /i was younger. You're in their tractor beam now đ
From the same Pulse collection of world-class music, please check out (for starters) TIME, or SORROW, or RUN LIKE HELL.
If you get round to Dark Side of the Moon......DO NOT listen to individual tracks....must be done with a big fat doobie, in one go....no pauses....â€
Can never understand when people hear this they do their 4 beat rock & roll head bobbin moves. Far from head moves.
Try to not smoke. Stoned is stupid.
Dude, get some proper sleep.
Parli troppo..
