Huacachina, Peru! A weekend trip to a desert oasis

- I am traveling through Peru for the next few months and have been in Lima for several weeks. This weekend I decided to take a weekend trip down to the beautiful Huacachina.
I took a dune buggy and sand boarding tour.
Ate delicious food by the oasis.
and made many new friends.

Huacachina has for sure been a highlight of my time in Peru. Next time i will be staying for more than just a weekend.

Maybe it is too late, but between Lima and Paracas is Lunahuana. A place about 1.5 hours from the coast where we can enjoy Kayaking and/or Rafting . . .

I am in Cusco until 11/19. But depending on my travel plans I might be stopping back in Lima for a bit. I plan on going to Colombia at the end of November
THAT WAS A GREAT MINI TRIP, hope you enjoy your stay, i recomended you can go swim with sealions at LA PUNTA - CALLAO, but it will be a better wheater on november/ december. other thing you can do its rent a FULL DAY tour, theres a lot of adventures options that arent too tough.
