When Coca Cola arrived in Peru, the Inka Kola was the most consumed drink. Coca Cola could never outsell Inka Kola... Until it bought it.

Coca-Cola is also Peruvian, it's the old balsam of Peru, inkas drunk like coffee, the Spaniards saw them and brought to Europe and eventually america and elsewhere,....the chemist man Mr. Pemberton of Atlanta Georgia, beginning XIX Century, added cola, sugar, and effervescence and magic!, Coca-Cola was born,... same story is pretty much for vodka, potatoes made, is distilled from obvious potatoes, (fermented) the inkas used to do it, and vodka of potatoes made was born,....we still fermenting corn🌽varieties, and we do a great variety of drinks, we call them, chichas, or mattes,... greetings from the usa,....
I'm not from Peru but it's good that you show the world (specially Americans) that Latin America is not a huge ghetto, Latin America does also have good places

Welcome to Peru! 🤭 many branded things are a quite expensive than in the US! Lol also I didn't know it was that easy to find American football here 🤣 Clearly I am not mostly around the touristy areas 😅😅 Enjoy Peru!! And maybe recommend me places to visit and party😅

If you want sun in Lima you must go on April it's the best time to visit it, it's not hot and not so humid.
Debes volver en verano son casi 4 meses de sol todos los días. La ciudad cambia en épocas soleadas. Te encantará más. Ya que la ciudad se traslada a las playas y balnearios también .

I liked so much your video and I love that you have a great time living in Lima. I wish all Lima was like Barranco or Miraflores, but it wasn't. You need to be carefull, of course. Altough you are in a safe district, crime is everywhere and I don't want you to leave here with a bad experiencie. Greetings from a peruvian. :)

Nice video man. If you want sun you can go a few hours to Paracas or Ica. Lima (especially Miraflores and Barranco) has it's own climate. I'm going to Molly's to watch the UFC tomorrow at 1PM with some buddies if you fancy coming along.
I did make a trip down to Ica and huacachina. I actually just posted a video of that trip yesterday.

You should know that Inka Cola outsold Coca Cola about 5 years ago. That is why Coca Cola bought 49% of Inka shares and, in this way, was able to include its Brand on the label. But it is still the most consumed soda in Peru

How come that you were not wearing a jacket? October is freezing cold for most of us. Have you visited the house of the plastic VICTOR DELFIN at Barranco? He is the one who made the El Beso scultpure at Parque del Amor. If you are still in Lima you should go there. Hugs to you man.

@@schmidtdylan one more tip of a place to go, the sacred city of CARAL ( It IS a UNESCO site since 1994 ) it IS at a 4-hour drive North of Lima. You have to go on a tour and It was built by the world's second oldest civilization after the Sumers.

Every where I’ve been has had Uber. There are also plenty of taxis to wave down. I’ve seen some other taxi apps used but I forgot the names of those apps.
Also, it is helpful to download the app Rapi. You can get food and your groceries delivered right to you really quickly.

I'm from Romania and been living in Peru for almost 4 and a half years. It was a great experience with lots of crazy things happening and at the end I decided to move back to România, since the life in Peru was more expensive and the insecurity is above what I've seen before. I would only go back as a tourist, unfortunately it's not safe and now the thiefes started to "work" in all the districts.
No way that peru is more expensive than Rumanía its ridicoulus
@@sacrilego27 did you leave in Romania or în Peru? Let me tell you WHY is more expensive. In Peru if you want to have a future as a kid, your parents need to pay private school and private health insurance, which you don't have to do it in Romania. The average salary in Peru is around $500 for 6 days of work a week in Romania is around $8-900. The average not the basic! Plus other costs which make your life more difficult, like parking, street vendors, rent. What I was paying in Lima for an old house with a modified apartment in a good area is what I pay in Romania, but with better conditions. My rent in San Borja was around $400 a month, for a kitchen, 1 room, 1 small office and bathroom. În Romania I'm paying approximately the same amount for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom and kitchen. So make your calculations, Romania is better to live and MORE SAFE! Besides everything that I said we have to put safety as well.
