Does WWE '12 Have The Best Universe Mode?

- We asked our followers on Twitter for their recommendations about the best Universe Mode in WWE games, and the consensus opinion was WWE '12. So we kicked off with the WWE draft and our first episodes of Raw & Smackdown to see if they were right!

Funny story. So this is around the time me and my Dad would play the THQ UFC games and the WWE games together. In the UFC games I would always use Brock Lesnar and his wrestling was crazy good. So I would end up beating my Dad a lot with him. He'd always get me back in the wrestling games though. So when WWE 12 came out we tried Universe mode and had a match. He won in our first match and Brock immediately runs out and starts beating him down. He was freaking out "I CANT ESCAPE THIS GUY" We were both howling with laughter. Such a great memory for me.

WWE 12, 13 & 2K14 were the absolute peak games post the SVR name change. No wrestling game since has come even remotely close.

Really is ridiculous that a game from 12 years ago has a better universe mode than 2k.
I liked SvR 2011. It had scenarios play out, like Rey Mysterio bought a front row ticket then jumps the barricade to beat your ass. It also had the allies and enemies system the current games have but it would actually work. If you were enemies with Orton, some matches he would interfere or run in. Also I believe factions and teams could form and disband just based off what happened in matches. It was just really cool and super fun.
Man, WWE'12... now these are some memories I've never think I would unlock ever again.

Omg the reveal of the second tag parter in The Nation was absolutely amazing, especially with Jawnny’s laugh reacting to it, such a funny and perfect moment

I love how Slip was trying so hard to not get wrapped up in the bit that he started doing play-by-play.
I wouldn't mind them going back and looking at WWE '13 and 2K14 as well.
