As a huge Freddie Mercury stan, I love it when people cover one of his greatest songs. Most covers show great respect for the original artist and keeps the music alive and relevant for a new audience. This one sure did.
Freddy said do whatever you want as long as you don't make it boring. He's smiling down on these young men very proud of the way they made his song sound.

Finally Forestella! I’m smitten with Shape of You and Hijo de la Luna. Another shocker is Kang performing phantom of the opera, not his audition version but the finale show one- it will dislocate your jaw with not only the notes hit but the performance itself!

This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; a survival audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world!
Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! And they broke the record of their own with Lazenca Save Us winning 4 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs 2!

Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist & rock vocalist with soprano falsetto voice), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, one of the semi-finalists from Voice Korea 2, rough-textured husky tone with R&B, Pop groove). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. Ko WooRim said they met more than 300 days together in Phantom Singer All Stars behind interview but in a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in 2020. So I think this explains how their perfection executed.

It is a very difficult song because it contains ballad, opera, and rock in one song, but it was reborn beautifully with the strengths that only they have. Don't stop searching for their songs. Hey there Travis- I have a quick question for you. I am a reactor too and I uploaded my reaction to this about a week ago and it was blocked. I disputed it as I normally do. (almost always successfully) As you have probably experienced this too, after a video thats been uploaded is blocked, after 48 hours it's usually released and viewable until the dispute has been resolved. This one has not been unblocked yet and even though there's 20 days left in the dispute, the Monetization shows as ON, in the YT studio content section, but blocked in the copyright summary. Sorry for going on- my question is, was this blocked for you when you first uploaded it? UMG is the claim holder. I am trying to decide if I should reupload it and see if it is allowed, or even give it another 48 hours if blocked again to see if works, then delete the first one. There are quite a few other reactions to this, and in my experience with the exception of less than 3-4 out of over 200 have stayed blocked. I would appreciate any input you could give on your exp. with this video. Thanks, Jennifer Clark- The Speak Easy Lounge YT channel.

Gurl, we both know that a group trying to cover a Queen song can either be the best idea you ever had, or the death of your group. They definitely got bonus points on this one. I have already searched for them in another tab, so I can listen to more. In ranking them on the list of BhR covers, I put them in #3, #2 is Actually Queen, and #1 is Pentatonix. I'm sorry that's just how I see it. I've seen more bands have to break up because they didn't do a very good job on a Queen cover, than was able to pull it off. The fact they are from Korea, and probably don't speak English very good, if at all, makes it even more respectable. Not saying they don't or can't speak English, just that the percentage of people that do actually speak more than one language is low enough that odds are they don't either.
I don't like Queen's cover but THAT was insane!
